This place is a joke, came here to cash a paycheck as a non-account holder and it turns out they charge more than the money tree next door to cash one of their own checks. Question is, how do they stay alive with this business model?

On February 12th I enter the Bank of the West on West Sahara in Las Vegas Nevada as I enter the bank I walked in there with a money order of $100 I signed the back of the money order and ask for it to be deposit into my checking account. The tellers proceeded with a transaction, she gave me a receipt..But the teller made a huge mistake, we don't live in a perfect world mistakes happen she apparently forgot to deposit that money into my checking account(ONLY GOD KNOWS) this is truly a great ,great mystery to me that money order somehow became mysteriously missing as I tried to retrieve my disbursement they told me that I had to take out a claim🙄 I don't see why I have to take out a claim when it's clearly an error on the teller part. Now let's hypothetically look at this let's rewind the tape if I was a BANK ROBBER they would go straight to the footage and see where the crime is being committed RIGHT? well I also suggested for them to do just that, go to the footage and see where I actually signed and gave the teller my money order.But why am I still waiting for a small amount of cash which is $100 for it to be credit into my account? This is a great mystery to me (SMH) I have had nothing but problems after problems with Bank of the West I'm very saddened by their professionalism so with that being said wish me luck on getting my hundred dollars into my checking account, but a word of advice when you decide to go with Bank of the West keep your eyes wide open very wide because they're practice is quite unusual.....

1. Wait times on the phone over the past 2 years is no less than 30 min. - 60 min. 2. You can not make international transfers using the mobile app or online banking. 3. You can not make changes to your cards in the mobile app or online banking. This bank is outdated and interested in their customers.

This is the worst bank I've ever encountered. They rob you more than they try to help you . Bank policy is straight doodoo . My wife will be closing account first thing in the morning. Horrible place

If only there was an option to have zero stars. This would be it. This would be worst experience I ever had in my life. I see why this bank is nicked name "Bank of the worst." I tried to withdraw 10k however they said they didn't have the money at the time. They said they only have 30k for all customers. Once that reserve money runs out they give customer cashier checks.This is not a professional owned business. This is like a hood rat mickey mouse bank trying to keep a low overhead cost. I am done with this bank. Hello Bank of America!

one of the worst banks around..beware of there antics at the end of your loans. I have 3 different payoff amounts and the one they say on the phone isnt even one they have sent in writing...April 2019 says I owed $570.00 the one from May 2019 says I owe about $560 since the May statement I have paid $400 in 2 payments. the pay off on June when I went into the bank is now at 1200.00 ??? how does your math work???

If I could go any lower than one star I would. I’m not sure where this bank finds their employees but my best guess would be the garbage? I’ve worked in customer service my entire life and have never experienced such a lack of respect from a business before. If you open an account online you need to WALK into the branch and mak a deposit before your debit card is issued. No temporary cards will be given and supposedly they can’t express the debit card in anyway. Also, don’t plan on making a deposit and having it available anytime soon. I made a deposit a week ago and was just informed I need to wait another week before being able to pay my rent despite it being due today. I understand they need to hold a check but for 10 business days/14 regular days is RIDICULOUS! When I called this morning a man said he would ask the supervisor and call me back. What a surprise, he never called back. When I asked for the supervisor she was rude, kept cutting me off and told me it was my problem they’re going to continue to hold the check and I couldn’t even cancel it to get it back. Terrible, awful, disgusting customer service and I wouldn’t wish my enemy the problems that I’ve had with them. I’ve had my account open for over a month and plan on closing it if/when my payroll check clears.
