First time renting a truck and using U-haul. It was absolutely the most pleasant experience. I called in to reserve my truck, when I walked in it took less than 5 min to complete the signing process. The representatives were friendly and efficient. Returning the truck was also simple, checking the gas and charging you for the rental. Thank you, we will definitely be using this location and company for our rental needs. * It was super Affordable!! I decided to purchase their insurance.

Excellent customer service. When we arrived, we realized the 10' truck was not going to be big enough for our needs, and the person we worked with made sure we got upgraded to a 15' truck and got us on our way with no issues. She was incredibly helpful and supportive. Great work!!

The woman who was at the counter in Las Vegas - sorry, I don't remember her name - was a kind and helpful professional. Kudos to her! I explained that I had previously rented a truck from the Decatur Las Vegas UHaul that was horribly out of balance and blew a tire on the way to OR. She understood, said THIS truck had been fully serviced, & we completed the paperwork. Windshield was filthy-looked like it'd gone thru a sand storm. It's Vegas, so it probably had... Got to the load out and the 2 dz pads weren't in the truck. We go back to UHaul. Three lot attendants were pre-occupied with their phones... Got the pads. One of the roughest trucks I've ever driven in 45+ years of rental trucks. Felt like I was in a large washing machine. smh. How does a 2018 Ford F-150/250 NOT have cruise control? Made for a tougher 1175 mile drive than necessary. Front right tire started cupping shortly after leaving Las Vegas. Continued to worsen - balance was definitely out. Uhaul stations I stopped at in CA/OR were closed or couldn't help me. Last third of the drive could really feel the front right tire out of balance. Also, lots of noise from the heat shield - probably loose... A/C was great! Crossed the hot desert with no sweat... 9.4 mpg with a full load Vegas to Portland - Interstate 15>58>99>Interstate 5. Might look at Budget or Penske on a future move...

Talk about a rip off. The quote that was given to me over the phone was not even close to accurate. They told me the first 30 miles were free, turns out they were not. They charged me $140 for a truck that I used for three hours, three hours! I drove a total of 70 miles, so I should've only been charged for the additional 40. I was told that they would call me to dispute the charges before the final charge went through, they never did, they ended up just running my card for the additional $74. And that's after I had already paid $70 up front plus put around $50 of gas in the truck with these gas prices skyrocketed. Do not trust the quote that they give you, it is not correct and they will not call you to confirm anything. I would've given them at least two stars for their friendly staff, but not after being ripped off. Wish I would've read reviews on this location before booking with them. Oh well. Never again.

"Be rude" is this business's motto. You'll experience: Nasty "customer service" reps who hate their jobs and you especially. Lazy workers won't help put boxes in your car while they stand around shooting the breeze. And their boxes are infested with huge cockroaches. Go to any other place that sells packing materials!

Was told to take a 5-day rental moving from NV to TX. I did this last year and got there in 3 days and was able to have a daily rate. This time, I get back to TX in less than 2 days and I'm being charged for a week!? Their policy is it only adjusts if its LOCAL, not LONG DISTANCE, but NO ONE EXPLAINED THAT TO ME, THE CUSTOMER. They only said "take the 5 days it'll be a better rate" fully knowing I told them I'd be back in TX within 3 days. I call to get this fixed and I get an e-mail from a Dan F. (Manager) ALL in lower case, almost like he text me. Unprofessional. Atop of his unprofessional 2nd grade caliber e-mail, he refused to listen to me or understand I was not explained this correctly. Again, $1,000 for a 2 days rental?!! Lies. Theft. Terrible practice and a great way to screw over customers. Car rental agencies aren't even that greedy. Managers at both locations were entirely useless and rude. Talk about a true 9-5 job mentality. Escalating to corporate.

This particular UHaul dealer has a lot of employees who just seem to muddle through a job they hate. I thought I was dealing with a UHaul closer to my home but was frustrated to learn it's a different location. When I got there, it wasn't a pleasant rental experience; no clear directions as to where to find the trailer on their lot, front to back, back and forth - and everyone's "radio" seemed to malfunction - at least that was the excuse I got for no one knowing what was going on.

I use uhaul frequently from Idaho, Utah, Las Vega and this location has provided the worst experience I have had, hands down and by a mile. I have been here for 30 minutes picking up a van that I have for 4 hours which was setup for mobile pickup. I have done this multiple times before without issue at other locations, but today I was told by the people outside that they didn't offer mobile pickup and to go inside. Once inside there were approximately 20 people in front of me. I would not mind if I had not completed all necessary paperwork and called and confirmed the mobile pickup via a phone call.

Worst experience ever at a U-Haul. Counter representative was unfriendly, talked harshly, more interested in talking to her co-worker about another co-worker in front of me. I declined the insurance yet still charged for it. At time of return it was after hours and attempted the check-out on line. U-Haul needed to send me a verification code for security, but STILL had an email address I deleted a decade before, so we couldn't access the code. I requested this email address to be changed two weeks before when I was on the phone making the reservation. Because of that I was charged an additional $20.00. Today I attempted to call and talk to a representative to get this rectified. After an extensive amount of time I finally got a representative and half way through my explanation I was cut off. Hoping for a call-back, I received nothing. Disappointed this is the service we are provided from this company after so many years. So here in the end, $35.00 more than expected, but lesson learned. Sadly I am not expecting a reply from U-Haul, nor I am expecting to see an offer of a refund, but in turn you can also expect that I will be going to another provider from now on. Also on another note, I am a Realtor and very much enjoy making recommendations on movers, as well as sharing bad experiences and allowing my customers to decide.
