The pharmacists are on another planet here. I just needed a damn inhaler. I get there to pick it up, they bring it to the counter (use this pharmacy all the time and have had the same insurance for years) and they tell me is $50. When I ask if that's with my insurance that they have on file they say no. So I tell them to run it with my insurance and she says sure, "it'll be $5." So I say great. She then says "it'll be 30 minutes." It's on the counter in front of you... run it again. Makes no sense why you can't type it into the computer with the prescription sitting in front of me.

Went to the drive through to pick up some antibiotics. Joseph noticed my co pay was a little high ($107.00). He took the time to recheck my insurance and got the co pay to $10.00 dollars! Totally above and beyond, thank you!!!!!!!!

Very poor service when you send in a prescription they ask for your phone number in case of problems you punch in after2 the next day. Go there to pick up and they tell you it wasn’t in stock and had to order will be in next day after 2 no phone call letting me know. My doctor sent in refill for. Heart medication went2 days latter to pick up and didnothave asked if they could check other pharmacies said they were to busy had my doctors office call after she called them twice they. Checked fort eddy road and they had in stock. The heart medication is a monthly medication but. Never has in stock. Also a doctor phones in new prescription because you have a problem find out not in stock never let you know I have never such a problem with a pharmacy was trying to keep local business but there forcing me to use mail in pharmacy. Very in happy

Do not bother asking the pharmacy questions they will neither be helpful or polite. They will make sure that you know you are annoying them. I stopped in to look for zinc for my sick dog. I couldn’t find any in the vitamin aisle (not even tags with empty shelf) at all so I wondered if it was called a different name. But they just couldn’t be bothered. So I ordered it on Amazon which is what I should’ve done in the first place. This is why Amazon is killing big box stores.

I have nothing but great things to say about this store's pharmacy. Ever since I have transferred some of my prescriptions here I have found the customer service to be excellent. I want to give a particular shout out to the pharmacist Kelly, who really was so caring, helpful and professional in managing my prescriptions yesterday. Also I've had a good experience with the pharmacist Dev (sp?) previously. Lastly, the pharmacy techs are always helpful and polite on the phone (I'm sorry I haven't learned some of their names yet.)

On behalf of my son, daughter in law and my two grandgirlies, I am leaving this review of the pharmacy customer service at the North State Street Rite Aid. I am not sure what has happened to the people leaving negative reviews about the staff, but our family has always, and I mean always, been treated with respect, courtesy and good communication. Medications have either been waiting for pick up OR at the most, we have waited 20 minutes. We appreciate these professionals and will continue to make the 35 minute drive from home to have our medication needs met.

Went there recently to buy replacement tips for my Waterpik because they were specifically recommended as carrying them. Well they don't. At least that's what I'm forced to assume because every employee I attempted to ask actively avoided me. One to the extent of nearly running away when I made eye contact with him. Ended my search after nearly 20 minutes, still having recieved zero help, and decided to just check out with my other purchases. The lady at the register was nice enough but after learning one of the employees I attempted to seek help from was the manager I was done. The parking lot is tiny and leaving the lot is next to impossible with traffic. I recommend literally any other pharmacy unless you have no choice.

This rating is only directed at the girl pharmacists (I always see the men working the drive thru window so haven’t spoken to them)- They’re the only ones that have zero customer service skills, always have a rude/annoyed expression, no greeting or “have a nice day”. They’ll just stare at a computer until you walk away without saying a word after handing you your prescription. No longer filling prescriptions here, going to drive a little further out of my way just to not have to deal with the rude awkwardness of their transactions.

Rite Aid is giving away free Health Insurance quotes! They have an Affordable Care Act Counselor in store, Al Helie, who was incredibly helpful and was able to show me how much money i could save, what plans were available in my area, and even helped me submit my application! The best part is it only took two minutes to see what was available and how much I could save!
