I needed a car for the day when mine was in the shop. Avis offered a convenient location, vehicle relatively new, easy pick up and drop off, helpful staff, good price. All-around great value!

I was kind of worried trying this location but since I had no other choice (everything from my area was already overbooked) I decided to give it a try, I was simply amazed by the quick and professional service @ Lenny provided me, I was given a nice hybrid car which will for sure eas some of my summer expenses... Great location, amazing customer service, huge variety of nice cars!!! Highly recommended!

I was given a car with a flat tire - the light never made a noise and only showed after i noticed the tire on my own and was looking for a place to get it checked. This was ~5 miles of leaving the location. Avis at the other location where they helped filling the tire was great - though.

Terrible experience. They do not wash the cars. When i asked what to do because my car was filthy dirty, the guy said i give you 10 dollars to wash it. Service is not good as well. They do not check on status for your car when you return. I bet they give to the next customer without looking at it. In fact in the past the fuel gas info were wrong. Dont rent from this place. It is bad. Hertz Hoboken is closed but there is enterprise in hoboken and for the future i am going there.

Reserved and paid for a car in advance, and had to take a uber to pick up the car. But when I got there, I was told there were no cars and had to wait for hours. Called Avis and they did promptly issued refund, hence one star.

Friendly reception and staff. However rented 3 times from this place, the exterior of car was not washed, the interior of the car have always been dirty. Last rental - back seats had mud and boot was dirty, looked under seat and there was food and chewing gum. Gas was 3/4 full. Quality really needs to be controlled at this location. Update - replied to owner with the information requested. Update Dec 2021 - rented a few times now from this location and seen a huge improvement in cleanliness of the cars. Great job keep up the good work!

If you are looking to save a few dollars and you live in mid town Manhattan, then this is a place to check out. Prices are usually much lower than renting from mid town. Take the Bus over to NJ, which is quick and easy to pick the car up. Keep in mind they don’t clean the outside of the cars because there is no car wash on site. The service is pretty good too.
