For such a big town and a good sized post office, this one is terrible. Multiple windows yet always one representative open. Update: missed and wrong mail deliveries in town. Post Master is totally negligent which explains the entire staff. The only thing you can count on at this location is the automated stamp machine. Total embarrassment to the town

I never write reviews but I was so irritated after I left the post office and couldn’t stop myself to write. The older lady with glasses and yellow hair is extremely rude. I wanted to tell her on her face that she was rude but controlled myself. She ruined my day her rudeness. Also, She doesn’t respect the time of people waiting on line and kept on socializing with the customer in front if me. It wasn’t talk related to the work but pure useless talk. There were 7 people behind me waiting on line and she kept on talking worthless with the customer in front of me. I didn’t socialize with her so she started being rude to me. She likes customer who talks to her worthless so she can take her time to complete her job.

very rude staff is there yellow hair with old lady. my package didn't arrived but tracking page appeared "delivered". where?? doen't want to help their customer why she work there? for ruin people's feeilngs? I don't want to any mails or packages through usps paramus nj.

I'd give them 0 if I could. The Paramus post office is the worst I have ever had to deal with. They can't handle mail holds, can't deliver mail to the proper address and consistently send packages back to senders because they are too lazy to deliver! HORRIBLE - use UPS or FEDEX whenever you can

Clerk MARTIN is extremely rude and unprofessional. Mails to my address were being returned so I visited the post office to find out. He asked few questions very rudely and did not help out. He was just yelling. I was so embarrassed and shocked. Then another clerk came out from the window area to help me. He found out why I wasn’t received mails and he resolved the issue and called to update. The issue was resolved then.

Update 2/03/22 Who would think they could be any lazier. My kids school photos were sent out in large envelopes to hold large photos. Well they couldn't get it to fit in the mailbox and instead of bringing it up to the door they folded the envelope and pushed it into the box pretty much destroying the larger photos I paid for. Have to tell people to stop using USPS. Private company would do such a better job since they would lose their job for pulling stuff like this. I would go to the post office and complain but nobody there cares. Update 12/1/21 Didn't think they could get worse but they did. They are leaving packages that don't fit in the mail box ( normally they jam them inside with a ton of force ) at the curb on the grass. People can drive right up and take the packages no problem. These people just don't care and just another reason to get rid of USPS. Cant give them less stars. Go to washington township if you need a post office or oradell or westwood possibly Trenton. The post office itself is full of rude people that couldnt care less about helping or moving things along. As far as delivery the neighbors and I are constantly swapping mail cause they can never get it right. They are also too lazy to carry a package to your door. They will jam it in your box or just drop it in your driveway. I have missed important letters and packages cause of these people. Just close this place and let another town handle paramus mail or hire a private company like ups or FedEx. These people are truly eating off the system.

Went to pick up an envelope for work and MARTIN the clerk yelled at me saying they don’t give out stuff to anyone random on the street, even after providing proof of employment. He continued to yell at me even as I was leaving. Turns out they put the envelope in the wrong slot. Didn’t know USPS hires people with lack of self control. Just avoid this place all together as they don’t respect latino customers.

On September 8th 2021.I went to the Paramus post office to pick up held mail that was never redelivered. When I told the clerk name of my frustration she became irate and spoke to me in a rude disrespectful and completely unprofessional manner. When I tried to explain that this was not the first time my mail was not redelivered and asked if I could speak to someone for help so this doesn't happen again. She in my opinion verbally abused me by yelling at me. "There is no one here to help you" When I told her I truly find that hard to believe and that I wanted to speak to competent supervisor, She again shouted at me NO! She then retrieved my mail and slammed it on the counter before me. This obviously upset me very much. I asked to speak with a supervisor in charge again. She shouted .I told you there is no one here. "Now take your mail and get the hell out of here or I will call the police"! I stood in complete disbelief and told her feel free to do so. Then she shouted ."You don't know how to treat a women". I walked away from the window and waited approx. 5 minutes. Finally a gentlemen came out to assist. He gave me the post masters name and number. To date no one will pick up the phone. I did file a complaint on the USPS website. I was told that the clerk had been spoken to. In the private sector the person would be terminated .The sad part is this slow witted individual is still employed and will probably remain employed until retirement. Then collect a generous undeserved Government pension on all the taxpayers. I find the entire situation pathetic.

The worst place EVER! All employees are soooo rude,nasty,disrespectful. Seems like its a favor for them to speak to costumers. I had a “pleasure” visiting this post office to drop off my box, was in line for 10 mins and after the clerk (looked like Indian lady) called me - I asked for a receipt because my buyer requested a copy of it, she started yelling at me saying we dont give receipts and I shouldn’t drop off my box at her window, its in different location. I ended up driving to Clifton location ( took me 43mins) to feel the difference. I finally got the receipt with the tracking # and the clerk wished me a good evening 😇

It’s always a pleasure going to the post office. The staff is very friendly. They’re always busy that’s because a lot of people need to mail stuff to someone else. Today I used the automated attendant which worked out very nicely because there was a line of six people in front of me.
