It took me so long to write this review since I bought my MacBook back in December ‘21, but I just wanted to say that Alex, if Im not hopefully mistaken with his name, was the sweetest person. He helped me set up my computer since it was my very first personal computer ever. He was very kind and understanding and made this experience unforgettable for me. So, thank you so so much, Alex!!

chanchal is an amazing people at apple soho. I have an issue with my network and they place me on line for 1hour and 30 mins for waiting time wihich is really frustrating. However I walk downstairs and and Chanchal ask me if he can try to help. He trying hard to fix the network issue on my iPhone 13 pro max for 40 mins and he finally fixed it. I truly appreciate Chanchal help. Thank you Chanchal again this means a lot to apple customer we need more people like you.

I am extremely frustrated how they treated me. I have a damaged airpod tip and I brought it to the store. Basically they immediately rushed to the conclusion that I need to pay for a replacement. They rushed me to finish the payment and specially called out that it is possible to get a refund if it doesn’t work. It took me forever to charge the airpod case using their wireless pad. And nothing seems to work after charging for 30 minutes. Only then did they provide me with a usb-c cable for fast-charging. While waiting, I contacted the original retailer Amazon and Amazon agent was conversely super nice to offer me a free replacement option, since it falls under 90 day warranty they offered. The airpod was still not pairing anyway so I came back to ask for refunds. And the guy serving me before was gone! The lady taking over started to mention that airpod is final sale and wouldn’t be possible for return. She offered that maybe I could sell it. I was like dumbfounded by their total disregard for solving customer issue and they basically just want to contain my anger and usher me away! As for the takeaway, knowing and confirming this only — Genius Bar is created for the sole purpose of ripping more from already dismayed customer. They just cannot let you keep to your pocket and enjoy something called customer service for the product you already spent multi-grands on.

I don't live near this Apple store, but it is by far my favorite in NYC. Everyone I've ever worked with here has been super helpful and responsive, and I keep coming back to make new purchases and get my repairs done here.

I just want to say SHOUT OUT TO DASIY! Daisy was fantastic! She was incredibly helpful from the moment we walked into the store and was soooooo helpful throughout the whole process. My phone was stolen and Daisy calmed me down and helped me reset my account and obtain a new phone!

I recently purchased an iPhone 13 Pro from this location. Unfortunately, my session with the employee who assisted me was riddled with misinformation that has now resulted in me having to travel back to the Apple Store to return this product and go through this purchase process a second time. I told him I wanted to upgrade my iPhone X. I hadn't even handed him my phone yet before he responded with (verbatim) "Upgrades aren't a thing anymore. They haven't been a thing for years." I was puzzled by this information, but I took it as the truth. Moments later he asked me if I wanted to pay upfront or pay over a 24-month period, and I asked if there was any difference between the two and he said (verbatim) "No, the 24-month plan is just for people who prefer to pay overtime." Lo and behold, I discovered that not only is the upgrade plan still very much a thing, there has also been little-to-no change in how it operates since I initially signed up for it in 2018. Additionally, I've discovered that the difference between paying upfront vs. paying in 24 installments is, in fact, the upgrade program. It is mind boggling that a customer could walk into an Apple Store and be flat-out lied to by an employee about the options that are available to them, resulting in a well-over $1k loss. Thank goodness my instinct was to do further research and I'm still within the 14-day window to return this product.

🚽For those looking for a toilet, this is the best one in soho. 🇨🇦It was a recommendation from the amazing staff at Canada Goose. 😘And no, you don’t have to be a paying customer to use their toilets.

I am very disappointed, I had a hard day, the fault of the technicians on the second floor, I had an appointment to repair my iPhone 12 pro max, my phone was charging at 90 percent and when he gave it to me it was 10 percent which is ridiculous considering i came from very far away and i needed to use my google maps to find my way, shame on you

Very poor customer experience in the Soho Apple Store. Purchased a new iPhone 13 pro and airpods, the airpods stopped working 2 weeks after purchase and the 13 pro stopped charging. Went to the store to address the issues and the store management made no attempts to rectify the situation and cited footnotes in the warranty (which I paid the full coverage) to avoid replacing the products. After much back and forth the best they offered was to refund 10% of the warranty, or otherwise $30 on a $2,000+ purchase. In addition the store manager was highly unprofessional with very low sense of customer support and empathy. I’ve been an apple customer for 15 years and they showed zero sense of empathy. In addition he said to me “I have thousands of customers coming in here everyday spending millions, why would I care about your specific case?” What kind company allows their managers to treat customers this way? Very poor customer experience and inconsistent with the culture of Apple as a company. Maybe it was just this particular manager but it still shouldn’t happen ! Strongly suggest going to another Apple Store than the Soho one where the management lacks empathy and basic understanding of customer support.
