Purchased a lawn mower from Lowes. Two days later tried to mow my grass and the mower wouldn't even stay on. Kept having to restart it. The mower wouldn't even blow the clippings into the bag. It just kept choking down. The mower wasn't even powerful enough to pull the mower on level ground when self propelled was engaged. The worst part is how Greg, the manager on duty, treated me when I called. Very rude and hung up on me twice. Basically said no returns on a mower. I asked for the main office customer complaint line #. That was the second time he hung up on me. After speaking to the lady that kept answering the phone, I found out that Greg was a real fan favorite around there. The employees don't even like him. When I told her what he did to me she told me she wasn't surprised and gave me the number I asked Greg for when he hung up on me the second time. Terrible customer service and a rude manager. Newsflash, Greg, I went to the store and got a hassle free full refund to my card. I told the lady what was wrong with the mower and she happily gave me a refund. Now you have a customer complaint for your store and this bad review too.

From the banana peppers in the garden to some of my household plants, Lowe's has been part of freshening up my Summer. I bought new appliances, light fixtures, and my toolbox is 1,000% Lowe's / Craftsman. Highly recommended, every single department of the store.

I ordered a washer & dryer on 7/3 to be delivered 8/11. The dryer doesn’t work. I tried to call last night to get this resolved and they just put me on hold until they closed and basically ignored my call. I went today to the actual store and thought I had it resolved just after lunchtime after speaking with a manager. Two hours later she calls me to tell me they can’t help me because my original order came from another store but the manager there is aware of the situation and would call to schedule delivery. It’s now been over 6 hours since that call and I have heard nothing. I have tried calling but after waiting for over 15 minutes on hold to speak someone I decided to callback. I’ve now tried 3 additional times over the last few hours, with extended wait times and still no person on the phone. I am VERY UNHAPPY with my experience. If this is not resolved by Sunday, I will be cancelling the order & my Lowes credit card and never shopping there again. I’m not sure why customer service has gone down the drains but maybe they need to get some training out to their employees and managers about basic customer service and taking ownership. I am absolutely appalled at the handling of the situation. I feel like they should have some emergency spots for their delivery drivers for things like this. It’s not the customers fault a defective product was delivered. I shouldn’t have to go to the back of the line of customers just because I was given a defective product.

Terrible delivery service: made a lumber order on a Monday for delivery on Thursday. It is now Sunday and I have still not received my items. Was told by the manager that my items would not be delivered and does not have an ETA. Did not offer in store credit or discount on my order. My two options are hurry up and wait or go pound sand. Wasted PTO and paid labor waiting on these guys to deliver my lumber. Do yourself a favor and take your business to Home Depot who actually sticks to a schedule and timeline.

Not a person in sight to help me locate my items and then I go to checkout and no registers are open, only self checkout... No! I'm not using those job killers I'm not an employee of your company and won't be held responsibleif your machine misses a product scan.... I dropped my products off and went to Home Depot... If your going to make me do your job you better start dropping prices or pay me. I will not shop at a store that chooses machines over cashiers...

I was supposed to have a microwave hood vent installed on Thursday along with delivery of the new range. The installer called me to tell me that the microwave wasn't at the store and they would call me to reschedule the installation. Turns out that the store had the microwave delivered with the range later that afternoon. I totally understand that mistakes happen, but I feel that it's reasonable for me to expect a next day install since it was the stores mistake. I went into the store this morning and spoke to an assistant manager, but still had to wait for their installation schedulers to call me to reschedule. It turns out that I have to go to the back of the line and it won't be installed until next Wednesday, a full 7 days later. This I feel is poor customer service

The store itself is great, 5 stars.... however the checkout is pretty ridiculous now, they have eliminated all the checkout lines, nothing but self checkout now, I don't mind using self checkout occasionally, but not all the time especially when I have several items....the thing that I don't get from a business standpoint is, how is it financially smart for a company to eliminate the checkout lines, and then turn around and have to over staff the front of the store to help people with self checkout, why not just open a check out line? Bottom line, I see more employees in there then ever, but nobody checking people out, I don't get it.

The store is actually great, customer service is very good. But why is there always only ever 1 line open? They have 8 self checkout lanes, and they are all always closed. Seriously, every time I go in, there’s a long line and all the self checkout lines are open. It’s ludicrous lol.

Purchased a dryer in store Saturday and was to have had delivery, installation, and haul old appliance away. Delivery showed up before 8 am. Didn't get the delivery schedule call until 10 minutes after they left saying item was on the way for 8AM-12 PM. Salesman Lorne said everything would be on truck to hook the dryer up but only had dryer. Delivery men wanted to leave new dryer on front porch without hauling the old one away. Customer service was not open. I had to wait for store to open and kept getting put on hold because there was only one person working customer service. Drove to store to get the cord and vent duct. Lorne apologized for the mix up and made things right with the items that were left off. He offered to send someone to hook up the dryer tomorrow. Fortunately my husband was able to do the hook up once we had correct parts today. I appreciate Lorne's effort to fix the situation. Can't say I would bother with delivery again though which is why I'm not giving a 5 star review. Sadly customer service rep at the store mentioned this has happened with other customers. Seems like a little more attention to making sure all items are included with orders, and delivery drivers who aren't trying to dodge doing there job for set up and haul away would be areas this company could improve on.

They have a decent houseplant selection if you're a plant mom like myself. I came here today to exchange/purchase a new light bulb. I asked an associate where the light bulbs were and she directed me towards aisle 11, but a different associate, Jordan (didn't get his last name) walked by as I looked clueless, and took it upon himself to walk me to that aisle, pick out the light bulb I needed, and even showed me how to tell the difference between a T8 and T12 bulb. Super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly! Great customer service!
