Growing up my family had a mechanic we took our cars to and trusted like our family doctor. During the past year or so, I’ve noticed a big change at Midas on Riverview. “I’ve got a trusted guy again!” They consistently go above and beyond. Plugged my tire for free, last visit. My frontend alignment was way off. I couldn't get it to drive straight..I just installed new drag link bar and outer tie rods. Within an hour they had it done and it drove perfect.They did a good job on my full size Ford van

My first experience here is when I ordered tires to this location and had them installed there. They got it done fast and did a clean job (wheels were not scratched and tire lubricant wasn't all over them like I've experienced at other shops). So, I took my car back for a tire rotation and brake inspection. I figured the car needed new brakes, so I was expecting them to tell me that, but the manager voluntarily showed me the wear on the rotors and pads. I didn't have the job done that day, but there was no pressure to do so and they didn't even charge for the tire rotation (even though I didn't buy the tires from them). This place knows good customer service, is fast, and is very good at what they do. I've overheard them talking to other customers while waiting for my car and they always explain the exact problem, why something needs to be replaced, and even offered to show them sometimes. I was helped by the manager or supervisor, didn’t get his name, and he helped me free of charge to get off my old rusty license plate and even bolted the new one on. It was very timely as well! Number One; They repair tire leaks for free. They repaired a large slit (I ran over the blade of a broken scissor which many wouldn't have tried to plug) on my tire with 55,000 miles on it and they didn't even try to sell me a new one (as most facilities would). Number Two; They open at 7:30 am with coffee ready. As of now, they have a new manager which may solve some earlier problems. (No offense to the previous manager. This visit is my first.) The bay's are clean and neat. As the son of a mechanic, I know that is a sign of professional workmanship. They now perform most mechanical and minor bodywork services . I don't know anyone at this or any Midas location.
