Have had multiple problems with this store. Staff is rude and condescending. Manager has no control over staff. They treat you like they are doing you a favor to just do their job at minimal level required. Have left this location and moved to another. It's like night and day. Other location staff is cheerful, helpful, and pleasant to deal with. I don't know what the problem at Ninth St is, but it reflects badly on CVS, corporate needs to know!!!!

I'm a pancreatic cancer survivor, and I have copd, my medications keep me alive, this pharmacy has no consideration for anybody, I'm sorry, I know it's a rough time for everyone, but the way they treat people is beyond horrible. I've been to other locations, and they're caring and considerate, something needs to be done at this pharmacy

This pharmacy department is not helpful at all. If you don't use their drive-thru, prepared to wait for a while inside. My prescription was sent to this CVS to be fulfill. I never gotten a response when the prescription was supposed to be ready for over a week. I decided to go in person to CVS. The worker at the counter said “Your prescription was on hold because of my insurance didn't cover it." I called my insurance Medco and they said it is cover. I went back to CVS and gave my insurance information again. They said It could only be fulfill in NYC, since I work for the City of New York. I called my insurance company again, my insurance company said CVS is not correct in stating that I can only filled it in NYC. They said "CVS is a network pharmacy and therefore I am able to get it fulfill in Stroudsburg." The insurance gave me an 800 help line for the CVS to call to resolve my problem. I went back to CVS and told them what my insurance said. CVS personal said, NO, I AM NOT GOING TO CALL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY. They said "have my insurance company to call them instead." This CVS doesn't pick the phone calls that quick. They hope you get tired of waiting and hang up. Worse place to get your prescription filled. From now on, I will use the insurance direct mail order service.

This pharmacy takes forever to fill scrips. They do not start to fill, until you are standing in front of them. They also do not pick up their phone, even after an hour of being on hold. Then, they have the rudest staff. They act like they do not care whether someone has their medications. Something needs to be done about this Pharmacy. Have been coming here for over 20 years, and have seen customer service go way down. Use to have great staff, now not at all. Now they have their drive through completely closed. Do they even care about the disabled, elderly, etc. Apparently not. Shameful

Poorly managed pharmacy. Was discharged from hospital previous afternoon. When I didn’t hear prescriptions were ready I went inside to find out they hadn’t even begun to process the request that was sent over 24 hours prior. Was told it would be several hours before it was ready and it was just 1 common prescription. Unacceptable. I have to use CVS because of insurance, but I won’t be using this one again. Moving all of my prescriptions to another one.

Most incompetent pharmacy I’ve ever been to! Stopped at the pharmacy at 12:30 to pick up my daughters prescription that was sent in at 11:30 and was told she wasn’t even in their system. I parked in their parking lot to call the doctor but as I was doing that they called me and said oh we found her give us 30 mins and it will be ready so I said that’s fine. I went home and sent my husband to pick up the prescription when he got out of work at 5:30 and they told him it wouldn’t be ready for 30 minutes when it had already been 5 hours from the time they originally told me 30 minutes. At 6:30 the prescription was finally ready but the tech and pharmacist had a conversation about how it had spilled and the other person said no it was just lost. Then when they finally had it for us they were annoyed they had to enter the insurance information. Seriously never go to this pharmacy I have an issue with them every single time I’ve gone there including them loudly discussing my personal medical information in front of a line of people. If my actual pharmacy wasn’t so far away I would never go to this CVS again. From now on I’ll just go to Walgreens down the street and pay full price for the medication.

My 2 year old son has a really bad cough to the point of wheezing... went to the doctors at 10am - prescription was sent over around 11am - it is now 5:30pm and it's still not ready. I called to speak with the pharmacist to get an update around 3:30pm and waited on hold for almost an hour. It made me calling the front store to ask to speak with a manager before the pharmacist actually answered. She was rude and told me she couldn't promise it'd be ready before 7pm (the time the close). It's like these people have zero sense of ergency. Time for us to find a different pharmacy to use after this.

I dropped off my son’s prescriptions (3) at 4:00 - 4:20pm. I was told it would be ready in about 30 mins or so, so my son and I waited. My son was in the car suffering from a severe asthma attack and needed the prescriptions ASAP. I checked on the status around 5:30pm and was told that there was still a wait of about 30-40 mins. I made the pharmacist aware of his condition and urged them to try and get his medications filled sooner - but was told no. I ended up taking him home and treating him with what I had there which didn’t help. I never received a call or text stating the prescriptions were ready so I went back to the pharmacy around 7:30pm and they close at 9. I inquired again but only 2/3 were ready. The third one the pharmacist forgot to mix and when she went go get the components she realized she didn’t have enough - and this was the main medication he needed to control his wheezing. He was only given enough for maybe 2 of 5 days plus I had to pay out of pocket for the partial amount. I asked when I can come back and the rest and was told I can try another location. So now I have to hunt down a location that can dispense the rest of the medication without a problem. Completely dissatisfied with this location.

Pharmacy is inefficient, inconsiderate, and disorganized. My sister had surgery early in the morning, prescriptions were sent there immediately and upon trying to pick them up they said it would be 2 hours from then. We were understanding of this. But when I returned over 2 hours later they said they didn’t have prescriptions for her and “they had just come through the system” which clearly was a lie since we had stopped there already that morning. They said it would be another hour to have them filled. There was no flexibility on their end from their screw up. Pharmacist refused to come talk to me about the issue. Would not recommend and after seeing all these other reviews will not ever return.

Beyond unprofessional Pharmacy! Staff are rude and prescriptions are never ready on time. They take until the next day and never answer the phones. Pharmacist even made me call my own insurance company to verify eligibility, when I in in fact had already told her I had insurance. It was their job to verify with the insurance company not mine. I’m going to look into contacting corporate this is unacceptable. I shouldn’t have to go to another pharmacy when this is the closest.
