Every time I go here they are out of something I need like Dr Pepper 9 out 10 times I go they don’t have it they’re staff is fat and lazy and they ignore their customers I stood in the fabric section for 30 minutes and called for help 6 times three employees walked past me two of them walked past even though I asked them for help cutting some of the length and one of them said they would find someone to help me no one came, then they closed. I only come here when I don’t have time to go anywhere else I usually drive almost an hour away just to do my grocery shopping in Sevierville Newport Walmart needs to review their staff since they’re customer service is in the toilet as well as their work ethics or make some changes because this place is sad excuse for a grocery store and embarrassment to other Walmarts.

This is the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had the displeasure of being involved in. It took me 7 phone calls this morning to get in touch with anyone. When I did finally get in touch with someone I was put on hold for 20 minutes and then the person I spoke with had no idea how to help me even though the issue was involving his department. I also asked to just speak with a manager instead of getting transferred again but the man refused my request. I’m going to have to go in physically to solve an issue that should have taken 5 minutes max on the phone to solve. This is ridiculous and you should take your business elsewhere.

I've been going here since it was first built in Newport. I recently stopped going altogether because I noticed that my dog's favorite food (Cesar's) went from $9.99 to $14.99 for the exact same 12 serving box...and you can actually SAVE $2 if you buy each serving by itself. Take your calculator out & you'll find all kinds of sneaky tricks they like to pull, all over the store. I miss the days when we were 16 and could drive around the parking lot & meet up with our friends lol

After going thru self check out. I'm driving a cart, I was stopped at the door by a manager. Who then asked to see my receipt. I had to sit there while 2 different employees searched my bags. Everybody was walking by made me feel belittled. Everything checked out no extras, nothing not paid for. I have it all on video

It's the same as ALL the other 50 billion stores in this country. Crowded, always out of the things you need, can't ever find someone to help you. The list goes on & on & on...... I try my very best to avoid this place at all costs.

I would like to thank first and foremost the Walmart corporation for being so kind to the people who travel across America. Yes, the mom and pops were negatively effected but as with life, we adapt. But that doesn’t mean we completely forget about them because we still need them where Walmarts can’t go. It is my belief that this is what Sam Walton wanted. He wanted communities to have what they needed while at the same time proving for people who are on the go. He was a marketing genius. I understand that some Walmarts don’t allow overnight parking due to the area they are in. Sometimes there’s just not enough room. To the ones that do allow such a convenience, thank you. Sam would be proud. That is just one reason why I keep shopping at Walmart.

Just like every other Walmart across this great country... They have about anything you'll need and pricing pretty fair... This store did have some very friendly service which is always a plus... Visited twice as we only stayed one night at a hotel up the street and both times every worker we ran across sure was very nice and helpful as needed to find what we needed
