First time visiting the store wasn't too pleasant. I gave my clothes to the cashier she kinda balled them up a little. I ask could I have them back so I can properly fold them the look I received was unfriendly. The credit card machine was messing up so I had to place them on hold. Went back the next day the entire experience was like a entire makeup. 2 fresh faces that greeted you coming and going.. Even though the first experience was unwelcoming. I prayed about it and continue to smile and be thankful. This virus is closing a lot of businesses and to still be working is truly a blessing. We All Should be kind and thankful for everything..

Had an ok experience when I shopped this location on 3/6/20 after a decades- long Cato hiatus. The customer service was average except that a clerk unlocked my dressing room door and opened it twice while I was trying on clothes. Fast forward to today when I came to return 1 item that I purchased during my 3/6/20 visit after I called yesterday and was told I had until 6/30 to return it per the COVID extension. The lady on the phone was super sweet and I was ecstatic that I hadn't lost the $35 dollars. The clerk who helped me let me know it was she whom I spoke with when I called and proceeded to process my refund. She was initially pleasant and I'm unsure what happened in the 5 seconds after she took my receipt, but she began shaking her head constantly while going back and forth between punching the register keys and looking at the receipt. She stopped to ask for my license, which I handed to her. Rather than hand it back, she sat it on the possibly germ-ridden counter, just short of my extended hand. Next, she asked me to sign a receipt and seemed even more ticked when I used my own pen instead of the one she placed atop the receipt. Finally, she placed my money on the counter, again inches away from my outstretched, open hand. Before I turned to leave I said, "Thank you", again politely, and she replied with silence. Also, there are pieces of tape on the floor that form an 'x' in place for social distancing. The customer behind me stood so close, about 2 feet away, that I moved to my right to space us to 6". The rude cashier said nothing, which was somehow perceived by the customer as an invitation to move even closer, which she did. Today marks the start of yet another decades-long Cato hiatus, except this one will be indefinite. Good customer service is expected by me both over the phone and in person. The stank attitude I was served by merely coming for the refund that the store's policy allows was unnecessary and not at all appreciated.

I had quite a great experience at Cato on Kirkwood St. They greet you when you walk in the store.They are very nice, and professional that's what I like to find workers that like to do there job, with a smile on there face. If l wanted a dress I needed, they were there to help me find that particular 👗 dress. I'll give the employees 💯💯 💯!!

I just happen to be in the area and Googled the closest Catos. I was not greeted, in facet the two workers were so engulfed in conversation that I was never greeted nor was I offered any help finding anything. Very unusual for any Catos that I go to. I guess I won't be too hard on them for they were engulfed in restocking the store. Catos is an awesome place to shop where you can find great everyday fashions for a great price!

I see a sales associate walking all over the store wearing her mask under her chin, not cover her mouth or nose. It’s disgusting that during this pandemic that people are too lazy to wear a simple mask correctly.

It was Great, Catos always has something your going to like. Wheather it's clothing or Jewelry, a Purse, or sunglasses. Your going to find something guaranteed😊👍

Out of all the Cato facilities I have visited I must say this one by far has to be my fave The two women that I had the joy of meeting today that are employed at this location are amazing and make you feel comfortable this location is also very clean and put together and believe when I say I have been to some Cato locations that need maid service
