I was in the Memorial City Sephora today around 11:30am (Friday). There were actually more employees than customers at the moment I was there. I had an in store pick up and stood there for a good 5 minutes and no one ever came to help me. I went to the check out counter and they told me I had to wait under the sign. Ok---if they were really busy I would understand this command, however, there were cluster of employees in the store visiting with each actually doing nothing AND no line at the checkout with 2 cashiers. You'd think out of all those employees someone would be able to help me. Customer Service was certainly lost on the staff the morning of September 9, 2022.

I tried to exchange the eaze drop by fenty beauty with a different shade. They didn’t have the product and offered standard by saving the sale (order it online with them and free shipping). I got into an MV accident on 7/16 and was planning to return it then (within the 30 days) I couldn’t go anywhere for two weeks because I had a concussion & concussion headache (which I had doctor’s note for). It was 8/10 and I could not return it because it was past the 30 days. I used to work for retail and I had a manager (visiting another Sephora) offered an option to offer monetary refund once past the 30 days. The manager didn’t talk to me and mainly her associate. She didn’t try to help in any other way and was like sorry can’t do it. I offered to show proof that I was actually in a MV accident and was unable to function due to my concussion headache. The other employee who assisted me was condescending when I was trying to find a shade match for the eaze drop by fenty beauty. I try not to go to this Sephora often but the only section I like here is mainly the perfume section. The ladies (mainly an older woman (maybe in mid 30-40)) that work in the section has always been attentive and very sweet. I still rate this Sephora 1/5 stars because yesterday I only encountered rude people. I did not visit the fragrance (perfume & cologne) section that time since I just wanted the eaze drop only.

The worst service. I asked for help to get color matched. The lady whom I asked reassured me she’s getting someone and asked me to stay at the brand’s section. As I wait for quite some time now, nobody ever came to help me out. There was many workers around and just talking and kept telling me (with the worst attitude) someone would be there. Nobody came. So I left. Seriously, not welcoming at all.

I hate, hate, hate the lighting in most of Sephora stores. I can’t see the color marching on my skin at all. I usually avoid going to Sephora unless I already knew exactly what I need.

Ms.Daren was so rude I actually was having a good time trying to find products I like, until I tried some mascara like everyone else and she comes and snatches the mascara testers and in a very rude tone says “you can’t use these now I have to throw them away now” and rolled her eyes… I don’t understand why she had to be so rude but okay thanks for that terrible service Daren, the exact reason I didn’t end up buying anything from here.

My mom knows very little about make up and wanted a few basics to add some color to her skin. Jackie was very knowledgeable in choosing products and patient in making sure that my mom felt comfortable in handling the products. It was a great experience for us both overall!

I took my mom here for shopping, she doesn't know English well. I went here couple times with my girlfriend and the experience is good. But today at 5:47 pm Thursday, my mom tried some perfumes, she asked if she can open the box, I said no so she put it back. Then a girl came to tell us that there are a lot of samples so we can test, if we open the box she will have to destroy it as Sephora policy. She threw the box my mom touch right away in front of our faces... What can I react?!!!! I just so mad since I want to buy that for her!? But not in this way!!!!! She has dark hair w bang and red eyeglasses, the worst experience ever!! Does she think she is sephora CEO?

Just want to take the time and give the life of the store some credit. I hate that I forgot to ask for her name. She was tall, light complexion, sparkly blue eyeshadow and big lashes. She played with my son today with a toy roach lol.. (April fools day) Well, she is amazing. She was extremely helpful, knew exactly what to recommend with every product I asked for and most importantly, her uplifting spirit really made a difference for me. I always shop at this location and can honestly say she made tonight such a great experience 😊
