Waited for service, maybe a total of 12 people at the tables. 4 visible wait staff, and a manager having lengthy conversation with one of the regulars. Finally Pieper came to wait on us. She apologized repeatedly. We so few people at the tables, the wait way to long. After that you and the wait staff are at the misery of the bartender who doesn't want miss a talking point with the regulars, while you wait for your drink. The blonde tinted hair bartender.

I came to this Applebee's it was close to our hotel as we did the tubing thing over Labor Day weekend from Houston. I had been to a couple Applebee's in Houston before and the service and the food was mediocre at best. In addition it had been a really rough day of tubing as I dropped my cell phone and my keys to my vehicle in the river so I was pretty stressed out to say the least. This place made me do a complete 360 as well as my fiance. The waitress Kylie was absolutely phenomenal!! She did her best to cheer us up and the food was absolutely impeccable everything came out on time and quickly and was absolutely delicious!! We ordered the chicken with shrimp Bourbon Street and it was excellent! I kept saying to myself and my fiance why aren't all the other Applebee's we've been to in Houston as good as this??? Believe it or not I would actually make a trip from Houston to New Braunfels just to go to this Applebee's in the future!! Well recommended to everyone as well as Kylie is the best waitress I think that we've ever had!! Kudos!!!

Chris was the best waitress! She was very friendly and very welcoming! She kept checking on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. Food came out quick and it was nice and hot! Very delicious

A small little bar and grill. Not a big restaurant as I was use to on Florida but the food was very good and the service was friendly. I had the riblets and they were delicious. Menu was small to me. Tables were close together. Prices were fair . We enjoyed our meals. Plenty of food .

Mediocre...It was my first time going to Applebee's. I brought my family which my wife had gone before and said they used to be good. The steak was really....bitter? Tasted like alot of vinegar, mashed potatoes were bland as all get out and the rest of everyone's food was pretty similar. The server was great at checking on us but her attitude was what through everything away, she hated being there, you could tell. Even to her coworkers, she was super rude. A bunch of people kept walking out, but we endured and stayed till we were all done. I still tipped no matter what because I don't know what's going on, they could've been having a rough night. I'm hoping it was just a bad not, if not then it's safe to say that Applebee's needs to burn out or possibly do something different to get more people hired on so they can have sufficient staff to make sufficient meals and have sufficient service. Other then that, my kids enjoyed the chicken strips......

Haven't eaten here but picked up food deliveries here. This place looks like it's stuck in time somewhere in the late 90's. The people are friendly. Feels like there's always two to three people at the bar at any given time. And a few families in there eating at the booths. It's very dim lit in the restaurant and I've never met a host at the door.... something about this places makes you feel like you've traveled back in time to like a year into its first opening. Good for a bite, but Id probably get it to go.

Today is my birthday so I wanted to go to a nice restaurant and enjoy myself. I called ahead and spoke to a gentleman that assured me there was no wait. I walk in with my date and the woman standing at the door grabs a dry erase sheet and stands there just flipping it around. She didn't greet us and didn't even acknowledge us standing there. I waited 8 minutes with no one else waiting to be seated. Finally I left after never even a word having been said to me. I will never go back. This restaurant has extremely poor service.

Waitress was great, the pretzels appetizer, was great, but the entrees were not. I got the prime rib sandwich, and it's $14, almost as much as the sirloin steak, which I should have gotten instead. The dipping soup was sweet, and they put cheap prepackaged cheese on my prime rib sandwich, which made the whole thing taste cheap. Severely disappointed.my friend ordered the salad and said it wasn't great either while holding up a piece of limp lettuce. I was charged an extra $2.45 for onion rings instead of fries, and that meant I got 5 onion rings. And effectively paid more than the price of the 8oz steak. Next time I'm waiting for a movie, I'm only getting the pretzels. Also my friends breadstick on her salad was really good. Lol.

This was one of our best experiences, the crew was short staffed, 1 waitstaff, the hostess, bartender, cook and manager. (Larry, Patrick, Trent and Destiny), even though we had to wait a while, it was worth it! They were so gracious, attentive to our needs and professional, we got there about 9:30 p.m. after our grandsons football game and we were huunnggrryy! To say that they did everything they could to make us feel good about our decision to eat there and apologize for waiting is an understatement, will definitely go back again and again! AND THE FOOD WAS 😋!!! Sorry only got a couple of pics, we started eating right away!!!

This chain has been good everytime I've gone. And due to it's distance from me, not that often. We went for Veterans Day and I like that they've been doing this. Our waitress was nice and friendly and very attentive. Would love to go back again soon.
