Our dog was throwing up and coughing after boarding for a week. Was using a low-cost vet and they are apparently NOT able to schedule more than a few clients with a doctor during shot clinic days. I knew the doctor from prior visits and won't use her anyway. Tried to find a vet in our area to get her in for help. Called 10+ clinics and ALL said "sorry we are full today". I called Four Paws around 11am and spoke with Courtney, who acknowledged they were booked full, but immediately started asking questions about the dog's condition (NONE of the other clinics did this). She was amazing and concerned and very thorough. Mentioning she needed to check with Dr. McKelroy, she'd get back to me if they could see Bella. Maybe 10-15 minutes later she called and said "Yes, come in - we will see Bella". What a RELIEF!! So many calls and really worried about my dog, and I found an angel! I knew Dr. McKelroy from a few years ago when she treated my parakeets and did an amazing job. We got in right away and noticed no cars in the parking lot and the office was so quiet. We got into a room right away and gave the info needed. Dr. McKelroy came in, connected with Bella and thoroughly examined her and knew immediately what was wrong and got us all set up with shot, meds, food and a VERY reasonable bill. I also realized that the reason it was so quiet was because the office was closed! They close at lunch to go over notes and do staff development! So they saw us during their down time!! No one else offered to do that. I am now a Four Paws client and would urge anyone within the area to check them out. VERY thorough, VERY caring, VERY knowledgeable. Top notch team.

I didn't have any where for my pets to go boarding for spring break while I travel because they daycare was full for that time, but I had no problem getting them in at Four Paws 🐾 I was nervous at first to leave my pets but I had a feeling they would be ok! Came back from out of town and my fur babies was in great condition when I came to pick them up!!! ⭐Gave them 4 stars because of all the surprising fee's & shots policy needed for boarding even tho my dogs were up to date on everything at my veterinarian! But I did understand where they were coming from too! 😫 So I might have to use them again in an emergency!!!👍

You will never find better care for your pets than at Four Paws! They have taken great care of my little gremlins for years now and have helped us navigate the maze of chronic and complex illness. Doc and her staff provide quality care, and they are genuinely kind people as well.

Four Paws Animal Hospital is GREAT! When I called worried about an abscess on my turtles face, staff was very caring and reassured me that they could help and that my turtle would be ok! Dr Mckelroy worked my turtle in right away! She was very thorough in explaining everything to me! I highly recommend Four Paws Animal Hospital and I’m so glad I found them!

The staff at Four Paws have always gone above and beyond for our two doggies. I came in with no appointment as our Yorkie was sick..they found a way to fit us in and took extra great care of him for us. We love Four Paws!

My initial visit to Four Paws happened due to an allergic reaction my dog was having due to his yearly shots and the VCA could not see him immediately and told me to find a hospital. I just so happen to be passing Four Paws and they took him in immediately. From there, they have helped me with finding a dental surgeon, doing Zeus’s health checks, helping with his ear infection, and even getting me a health certificate for traveling overseas with my pet. Highly recommend and quite possible the friendliest, helpful, and knowledgeable vet and clinic I have ever been to with any of my pets.

I highly recommend Four Paws Animal Hospital. Dr. McKelroy has been our veterinarian for our two cats and one dog for 5+ years. Dr. McKelroy/Four Paws handles everything for our pets needs from routine checkups, grooming, lodging to surgery for my cat's abscessed tooth. Earlier this month we made the tough decision to put down our first family pet, our dog Bailey. Dr. McKelroys professionalism, knowledge, and personal story helped us make the right decision. When I called Four Paws and mentioned my concern about my dogs failing health, the staff was able to work in an appointment for us within the hour (once in the office, we found out a last minute cancellation occurred and Dr. McKelroy invited us to take all the time we needed to say goodbye to our dog). When I picked up Bailey's ashes (which was reasonably priced) the company put her ashes in a beautifully-engraved, wooden container and surprised me with an imprint of my dogs paw print. There are less expensive (and more expensive) options, but this option was best for our family. Also, when I picked up the remains, the staff was very sincere with their condolences (in addition, the entire staff sent us a card). We highly recommend Dr. McKelroy/Four Paws.
