This was such a nice and stress free experience. I only got a pillow but my mom was buying two mattresses and a frame. Levi was great very knowledgeable and friendly without being pushy like some sales experiences can be. Next time I need anything mattress related Mattress Firm will be my first stop!

I’ve purchased multiple mattresses and other items through Mattress Firm over the last few years. Last year I purchased a new Purple queen size mattress for my child. We had the bed on the floor for a year and finally got around to purchasing a frame for it. After setting up the frame we realized the bed is a full size and not a queen. Contacted this store where we purchased the bed and they told me they won’t do anything about it since I’ve had the bed for a year. They messed up and they wont make it right. It doesn’t matter if we have had the mattress for an hour or 3 years if returned it goes to the same place for resale and all we want is for them to provide the correct mattress we paid for or refund the difference since a full size costs less then the queen size we paid for. I got robbed because I didn’t measure a new bed that had to inflate anyways when we got it. I will be contacting Purple to see if they will make it right and if not then unfortunately I will have to pursue legal action over a few hundred dollars. I am done with Mattress Firm over this and will never shop with them again as I am sure all of you reading this can understand it doesn’t matter how many times a company does something right if they rob you.

My wife and I came in looking for a new mattress. We immediately felt like the sales man who helped us was being a little too helpful. We mentioned that we were just looking, but the guy didn’t back off. I’ve worked in sales before where if you don’t sell you don’t get paid, so I get it, but this guy was nice just too persistent. My wife and I would try out a mattress, start talking about it and then he would interrupt us. Eventually we just ignored him until he went away. Maybe part of the problem was that my wife and I don’t need a “sleep expert” so all the things he was telling us that I’m sure are normally helpful were irrelevant to us. They tried telling us about how certain mattresses would open our airways better and improve our blood flow, and I just started laughing. I work in the medical field and It doesn’t matter what mattress you sleep on. Ironically I routinely pull people off their mattresses to manage their airways when they stop breathing. Laying on concrete does a better job opening your airway than laying on a mattress. His coworker was looking up how many mattress they had in stock and was telling us about how much he really cared about finding us the best mattress for us while staring at his screen and avoiding eye contact with us. I definitely did not get the vibe that he really cared lol. Pretty friendly guys, hilariously obvious sales tactics, more interested in making a sale than getting people what they need. They also didn’t have many mattresses in stock. My wife and I won’t be going back.

I am very happy with my experience at the Mattress Firm in Layton. The salesman I spoke with, Josh, was very knowledgeable about which mattress would work for me. He didn't try to upsale me on a higher/newer model but also explained what was offered. When it came time to purchase, he was very easy to work with, allowing me time to go through my options. All in all, very good shopping experience and purchased the right mattress for me.
