My husband has a California drivers license but we have a Utah county address while he’s in graduate school at BYU. He’s rented vehicles from them multiple times listed as a BYU sanctioned purpose (day trips for research). They have his name on file, including his Utah county address. So today (he literally rented from them for a day trip YESTERDAY) he goes in like multiple times before. He’s got his debit card which they’ve charged as credit in the past. But today they say they won’t take his debit card to charge as credit because he’s got a California license. So I had to drive from work all the way there to give them our credit card. I leave to let my husband go about his business because now I’m late for work. They still try to reject the rental because of who knows what. My husband is literally in their file, standing in a BYU shirt, with a BYU ID. Then he catches them and says wait a minute, I’m not a California resident, my address is on file, charge my debit as credit. And it goes through. So I wasted my morning all for their inability to read their own files. BYU will probably keep renting from them out of convenience of proximity to the university, and reimburse grad students, but I won’t. They’ve lost my respect.

UPDATE: Everything was eventually worked out and I was able to obtain a rental an hour after arriving at Enterprise. A very unpleasant experience, but updated to 3 stars to indicate that it was eventually resolved. My wife was taken to Enterprise to get a rental while our car was being repaired. My wife had to have a neighbor pick her up from Enterprise because they refused to let her use my card, even after she offered to get me on a video call and to provide my license. I got a ride to the Enterprise to get the rental, only to be stranded because Enterprise said they didn't have a car ready. There was no explanation for why they did not tell my wife there wasn't a car available. They left me sitting outside in the rain trying to coordinate with my insurance company to figure it out.

Rented a van and literally no antifreeze in the van!! It broke down abt 7 hrs from home. I was told I had to figure out a way to get a new car!! Horrible office manager Andrea. Customer service at the finest! Finally got a replacement in the middle of a desert and the second vechicle breaks down less then 24 hrs after getting the new one. Computer failure. Stuck in the middle of no where. When I asked about a refund I was told we will see… we will see!! 2 vans break down completely in 2 days….let me see…every dime will come back to me Andrea! You called me by my first name over and over. We need to see what the manager name is. Worst customer service I have dealt with in a long time. First things, clean the cars And check the fluid.

Made a reservation that was confirmed just for us to get there at 5:05 sat there for 20 minutes, the worker then told us that the car was already gone and booked an hour ago? We booked right at 4:00 which doesn’t make sense we told the worker we got a code of confirmation and she then apologized saying she didn’t think we would make it to come get the car. Highly unprofessional of her to assume things on our behalf and secondly to tell us the car is there when it’s not, I recommend they train the staff more because this is just ridiculous. 😐

Great staff and location here at Enterprise Utah. Phill was an excellent help, helped do a thorough inspection of the vehicle prior to leaving the facility. Microphone for the in car phone system was not functional but other than that the vehicle was perfect. Lauren helped troubleshoot an issue with extending the rental days, something she explained cannot be done on the APP. Always a pleasure renting with Enterprise. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

When picking up the car- I noted to the employee that it was COMPLETELY wrecked- scratches, scuffs, dents larger than a quarter all over the car. Even scratches on the inside of the car. It was also filthy on the outside so it was very difficult to even see the full extent of the damage. Much of what I pointed out the employee noted as “regular wear and tear” - I’m not really sure how large rock sized dents and regular- but she insisted. We used the car for a few days while our car was in the shop, and we returned it to enterprise. The employee there checked it in, looked it over and signed off on the rental. The next day, more than 18 hours later, we received a call from another employee telling us we were responsible for a destroyed passenger door rocker and the FRAME OF THE CAR being broken… (I cannot think of any instance where the frame of a car would be broken only being driven to work 10min away and back for 4 days) she stated that it was so severe and obvious she spotted it across the lot. However- the employee who checked us in said nothing (because it wasn’t there). We spoke at length wherein she refused to disclose what the mileage on the car was currently (so we could compare it to the mileage when we brought it in) or disclose if she could pull security footage to prove that it was there when we dropped off the car (or wasn’t there when we picked it up) since it was “so severe and noticeable from afar”. She indicated I was lying and was totally unwilling to talk about the possibility of any other reasoning- even though she admitted her employee saw NOTHING wrong. She is filing a claim with our insurance. Although we’ve already spoken to them and they agree that at 18 hours after return there is no way to prove liability and anything could’ve happened in that time. The insurance will not only be investigating but be opening a fraud case to investigate this manager further. I am disgusted with this company- and this manager who honestly is attempting to scam people out of her own liability. We will be escalating this to legal council if not resolved and remedied.

I appreciate that they really work hard to keep their customers happy. The employees were super patient and took the time to make sure I got the car I wanted, and that all my questions were answered even though it was very busy. Taking the car back was really easy, and went smoothly. I feel like Enterprise Rent-A-Car on University ave. in Provo goes overboard to provide great customer service, and I would recommend anytime!

Would’ve given them a zero if I could. Warning: HORRIBLE MANAGER AT THIS LOCATION - BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I rented a car from this location in November of 2021 and turned it in on a Saturday, per my rental agreement. One of enterprises employees must’ve logged it in incorrectly because they charged me as if I had turned the car in on Monday. Overcharging me by two days. I called as soon as I realized this and was told it must be a simple mistake and I’d get a refund and call from the manager. It is now March 2022 and after 7 calls and 2 visits to their location requesting that the manager give me a call or send me an email I still don’t have my refund. After the first few times of reaching out I was told they had a change in management so I expected a call after that…still no communication from the manager. I’m at the point where I am going to have to take a day off to sit in the building they give me my momey back. So frustrating.

I usually have had good experiences with enterprise so it might just be this location, but I got my car from them and it was super dirty and stained as well as smelled like smoke which is funny because they kept stressing to me before getting the car not to smoke in the car. I was in such a hurry at the moment I didn’t think much about it but my kids and wife have had physical reactions to the smoke smell.

Literally one of the worst places to get a rental car from. I was in a hit and run with my vehicle while I was in my apartment and had to deal with this. Talked to my insurance and they didn’t want to do anything with the rental so now I am in a situation where they Charged me $500 for the damages and comes back and asks for more. I am now without $800 because enterprise charges too much for they’re repairs. Like give me the upfront cost and leave it at that. I tried to resolve it with someone at this location with no luck. Absolutely the worst experience with a rental car. Going somewhere else for my business.

My wife has used Enterprise in the past. I needed to go on a business trip, so I signed up online. I recieved emails of confirmation, and then had a personal call from them the day before picking up the car. When I arrived, I was greeted by Andrea (Annie). She was friendly and professional. She went over the agreement, but also walked with me to the vehicle. She started the vehicle and scraped the ice off the window. The customer service didn't seem forced...she was very genuine in her interactions. To many, a rental car is a rental car is a rental car. For me, it was a pleasure to rent from this Enterprise location. I will certainly rent here again.

They made gave us the keys to our rental car then we had to push it out of the snowy parking spot it was in and clean the ice off of it while the employees watched and did nothing. I would assume that when I rent a car I don’t have to get it un-stuck from the spot it is in at the rental car company’s parking lot. One of the employees also bragged to us about how much he made which was actually really sad.

Enterprise is always very professional. This week I rented a car for several days and I wasn't disappointed. I got a much better car than I was expecting for the same price and everyone I talked with was very kind and helpful. This is the way businesses should be run. Good service, the staff here are friendly. The location is a little tricky to get to since it is located right before the overpass over the train tracks in Provo. I would definitely recommend using Google Maps. It made it very straightforward to get there.

Have had the need to rent from Enterprise Truck Rental on two occasions while personal vehicle was being repaired due to accidents. On both occasions my experience was pleasant and the vehicle selection met my needs for a diesel for towing. Staff was helpful in getting me set up and working with my insurance situation even coordinating the overage beyond the standard rental. Enterprise Truck Rental in Orem, UT is great.

The car was in excellent condition. I reserved to pick the car up at noon, my ride to pick up the car was 30 minutes late so I was late picking up the car-I arrived at 1:00. The car was NOT ready, not washed not detailed. I waited outside in 100 degree weather with my kid-no water offered while I waited for the car. I then drove the car home and was disgusted at the cleanliness of the vehicle. I ended up hand washing the vehicle it was covered in dirt and it wasn’t optional to get in and out of the car getting filthy every time. The door jams we’re covered in dirt! The interior was filthy and I ended up detailing the interior and washing windows. Overall I feel like I paid A LOT of money for a vehicle that should have been A LOT cleaner. I spent two and a half hours cleaning before my trip. Car drove nice tho. Easy pick up and drop off.

Due to COVID they don't want you inside their building, they also don't have a tent or anything else to get you out of the weather. The day I rented it was nearly 100 degrees so I was standing out in blazing hot heat waiting for the one or two employees they had working there. They didn't have the car I booked and put me in a smaller car that had been smoked in. The manager reached out to me to ask how she could help but then stopped responding. Super awesome. I will skip enterprise next time.

I rented a car from Enterprise Provo location and I felt that the employee who helped me with the check-in process racially profiled me. She made comments in a condescending tone that made it uncomfortable to answer. She told me that I should get a Utah drivers license (I’m a resident of another state and I will not be living in Utah for a long period of time) and when I presented her with my credit card she questioned the validity of the card. Lastly, when she inspected the rental vehicle with me she specifically told me “do not take the car to Mexico” she didn’t even mention Canada! I am full-blooded Native American from Arizona as well as a citizen of the United States for all of my life. I think that this employee thought that I was going to take this rental car on a joy ride to Mexico. A country that I have absolutely no cultural tie to. I felt belittled and upset with the way this employee chose to interact with me today. Racial profiling is hurtful and absolutely rude! I have never had this experience with Enterprise until today, at this Provo location and with this employee.

I booked an intermediate-size car, but the office ran out of the cars, so they offered me a white Volkswagan beatle, and I accepted it. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our trip to Vegas with this tiny cute car. I returned it on Sunday evening(late hour return), so I had to return it for myself. They charged me some more than the original estimated charge on the very next day, but it was solved as soon as I visted them to make it. The managers were so kind and nice. Definitely would visit here again.

Unfortunately I had a very negative experience last night with enterprise. My pick up location was the airport, but I made the reservation through this location. I thought all the persons that assisted me the four times I called to check prices, make a reservation, and get assistance with picking up the vehicle were very pleasant. The policy that they will keep your car until the end of that business day is also great. However everyone neglected to inform me that you need a major credit card to make the reservation if you are under 25 and are not from the state. They had my age information so I am quite shocked that this wasn't stressed or told to me. This was my first time ever trying to get a rental and I drove two hours from Mt. Pleasant to get this car. They won't even take my parents card because they live in Oregon and are not physically here. I am now stranded in Salt Lake City, I have no idea how I am going to get home to Oregon, or when I will get to see my family again. I tried multiple services at the airport but it seems this is the case with all rentals. I am 6 months away from being 25, and I was just here for a year of school. I am very frustrated and very sad. I don't know what I will do. All of this could have been simply avoided if this was mentioned by any of the representatives I talked to. My dad has cystic fibrosis and being home to support my mother with everything that is going on is very important. I hope your representatives will mention the credit card fact in the future.

I have never rented a car before. When I booked my reservation it was easy. I got a called the day before I picked the rental up confirming my reservation. The day of my reservation I got there to pick up my rental and the employees were very nice and pleasant. the paperwork and getting into my rental was fast and easy and the price for the rental was way better with enterprise then any other car rental place. I looked at prices at other rental places in the provo area and everywhere else wanted to charge me over $500 plus a $300 deposit. My total cost for 9 days with enterprise was $260 plus a $200 deposit and since I used my credit card my deposit was returned with in minutes of my rental being dropped back off at enterprise. I will only book with enterprise from now on.

I had a great experience with their Provo agency. We walked in without having made a reservation and with a tricky situation. They didn't have the basic car available at that moment, so they upgraded to a mid-size for no extra charge. They made sure any applicable discounts could be added. The main gentleman who helped us was very understanding and communicated well. He was very clear on the rates, optional added coverage and totals. Everyone involved was helpful and efficient. This was my first car rental experience, thumbs up for me!
