For the first time ever, I approached by a retail worker and asked for my receipt under the pretense that I had shoplifted. I usually prefer to shop at the Sugarhouse location, because it’s the layout is better and it isn’t cluttered like the Sandy location. However, I was meeting and friend to take her out to dinner for her birthday. I frequently shop at Nordstrom (and The Rack) and figured I’d stop to get a few things while also using my rewards. I purchased a blouse, a candle and some Burberry perfume. I asked the cashier that handled my transaction where the fitting room was so that I could change into my top. After changing clothes, I proceeded to exit the store and walk to my vehicle. An employee chased me down, said that he’d noticed that I had changed clothes and that he would need to see my receipt to verify I had purchased what I was wearing. Not only was it embarrassing, it was highly inappropriate and unwarranted. I walked back into the store and asked to speak to a manager. She gave me what felt like such a disingenuous apology. I will never go into this location again.

They have a ton of racks of clothes now but I go for the Free People and like brands and they are all mixed in now. It was a little too much unless you have lot of time to search. Prices are typical. Employees were not interested in assosting.

I bought these sneakers that lasted less than two weeks. They were probably worn a total of five times. When I tried to return them they not only refused but we’re downright rude about it and acted like my son had somehow caused this. The manager was extraordinarily rude just repeating himself over and over again. He told me I couldn’t return them because they have been worn. We didn’t know they were defective until they have been worn! Horrible service horrible policy! Shoes should be expected to last longer than two weeks! Weak Nordstrom!

I adore Nordstrom! My Mom took me there when I was in highschool, in Anchorage Alaska. I loved it then, sigh... Remember the "Brass Plum?" Awesome threads! I was just there a couple of days ago, and the dresses for Spring, are amazing! Now in my 60's, Nordstrom still ROCKS!!

2 bathrooms made for 3 people each. Auto sinks and towels. Changing table in the biggest stall. They do have seat covers too.

I went in to make a return. Even though the line was 10 people long I got through making my returns quickly. I was treated kindly and greeted by friendly staff. I love the Nordstrom returns system using my phone number to access my Nordstrom card and account. Well done.

Been on the hunt for a pair of shoes for months. I'm not super picky but finding that sweet spot where "price = value" has been hard to find at other places. I not only found that here, but 4 times. I was on the hunt for a single pair of shoes. I left with FOUR. Great selection at amazing prices. One pair, I saw at another mall dept store. For the price of that one pair, I was able to buy them at the Rack plus 3 more pair for the same price as the dept store. WINNER!

I typically enjoy a quick stop at this Nordstrom Rack location. They have a great mix of clothing racks from designer row (what the sell in their Nordstrom stores) to brands only carried by Nordstrom Rack. I like to shop the front racks and then work my way to the back racks. The shoe area is large and typically has something you didn’t know you were looking for. The kids sections ok for clothes it’s hit or miss on if it’s stocked - the kids shoes is always a mess but worth looking at. The men’s section has a great set up and while not as large as the women’s section is usually better stocked. The purses and jewelry is also a 50/50 shot but worth checking out. The PJ area is small and filled with odds and ends and is near the house-ware section in the front left. I typically don’t shop this area. The store is organized and well staffed just don’t go if your in a hurry as the lines are typically long on a Saturday from noon till 6pm. For the best selection and shopping experience I usually ask when their next shipment will arrive and plan my trip around that.

Great signs directed me to the shoes I wanted. I am a tall man and need a large foundation. I found an adequate selection of size 16 plus shoes to choose from. Great store. Classy stuff at affordable prices.
