store is well stocked, workers are friendly and knowledgeable and the selection of office furniture, supplies, equipment is large. I keep going back to this location because it never disappoints.

My mom visited the store and always does. Someone there is usually helpful as she’s not too great with technology. Yesterday she went and some guy was in there. She said he kept telling her that he couldn’t help her even though she gets that minor help all of the time. He kept walking away from her and avoiding her in the store. Then she said he was trying to charge her if she emailed a picture to them so they could print it off. We’ve done this multiple times and have never been charged. The worker had a terrible attitude and if you don’t like people you shouldn’t be in customer service jobs. My mother will no longer frequent this store.

Very inconvenient, my mother called in advance and asked if they could look at her computer and an employee said that they could. So after the drive down there, we stood at the tech service desk for a few minutes and nobody acknowledged us. There was one worker nearby that was on a personal phone call on the store’s phone. I finally asked another employee if someone was available to help us and I was told they didn’t have anyone for that department at this location. After we were told over the phone that they could help us. One worker looked like they didn’t even care. I’m normally not one to write bad reviews but this was very unprofessional and needs to be addressed. I don’t think this is the image the company would want to have.

I went into this OfficeMax on Mechanicsville by the Walmart n Patient First..When I first approached the door there was a awful mildew smell. I walked into the store n the smell was all through the store that I gagged the whole way finding my 2 items n leaving. I couldn't find one associate to help me find what I was looking for. After 5-10 minutes I finally see a male tall stocker n I asked him where the letter openers was at. He didn't even know.. It was only 2 different brand names in a small area you was going to miss it if you didn't pay close attention..I ask him about the smell..He said he didn't know what it was and told management but they don't care. The smell was still in my mouth after I left n went home. I paid for packaging tape for $7.59 n a letter opener for $7.79. I told the cashier that these prices was too high n she said Look where you at, your at OfficeMax. I wouldn't recommend none of my friends or family based off the experience, prices, staff, n inventory.😩It's just sad

We spend at the least 300 dollars every year at this location and well over a grand this trip . This is the last time any of my money at OfficeMax until they get this location back to the standard of service we all need to expect the way it was. 0 star 🌟 choice is needed....

Staff had to get the product I was purchasing out of the back. Instead of taking it to the register, staff proceeded to walk around assisting another customer with product in tow. Staff was apologetic for the wait. Overall decent experience.
