Absolutely the worst post office in united states. The old lady is so rude and is no help then gets an attitude bc my package was there but on a pallet she didn't want to do any work for. Laziness at it's finest. 10 mins after I leave my package was scanned again. Now I have to chase the mailman so someone doesn't get my package thats very valuable.

I live in a fairly large apartment complex in Roanoke city and there are no physical barriers to delivering parcels to our doors but the local post office annex left a note on a trashcan saying that we have to not through junk mail in the trash and also the note above the trashcan said that the manager of the annex was now considering packages that would not somehow fit inside a 4” x 4” box As oversize and therefore we have to go pick up our packages at Crystal Springs and then over Christmas when we were told they were at Crystal Springs they actually were not there and we had to wait another few days to get the package that could have just been delivered straight to our front door. They have blanket refused to deliver all parcels since at least June unless it was an Amazon package that you could get on Sunday if it had Sunday delivery but if for some reason the USPS was delayed like they were all year because of the pandemic your Sunday packages didn’t show up on Sunday and therefore they are no longer Sunday delivery and therefore you still have to go pick up those packages at Crystal Springs. Basically the annex has decided that they don’t want to do their job and they’re passing off all of the parcel fulfillment to A postal worker and a post office that is probably already overburdened. The annex is also blamed my apartment building for not providing a place for them to drop off packages when they are not required to provide a place to drop off packages because there are covered doorways at every apartment. You cannot see any of the doors from the parking lot or the road. I have spoken to Senator Warner’s office about this and hopefully there can be a solution for at least me if not the entire apartment complex and I will not stop until this is fixed. Other people in Roanoke and get the parcels from them. Why can’t we???

They either deliver some of my packages to my next door neighbor by mistake or loose the packages occasionally. almost once a week they forget to pickup my packages that I schedule for pick up every night. The worst thing is when you call them , they do not pick up the phone , if they do they will hang up sometimes. it is bad at the carrier annex. I have to tell that my normal mail carrier is one of the best however he does not work 6 days a week and some other new employees have to cover for him. it does not seem like the management at the carrier annex is too worry about getting the job done right. Believe me this has been going on for years , it did not happen just today. update : 02/20/2021 they have not picked up my packages for the last 4 days from 02/17/21 to 02/20/2021 , there were official USPS package pickup request for each one . they faked a pickup by scanning one of the pickup request forms.

I've had 4 packages come up missing recently. All tracking #'s state that these packages were, indeed, delivered. Well, they MAY HAVE BEEN delivered but it WASN'T TO MY HOUSE. Now, getting to speak to someone at the almighty post office seems like I'm trying to call the Good Lord himself. I was given (by my local post office) 2 numbers to the distribution annex where all packages are processed prior to delivery and homeless packages are returned. Was told I could call anytime as they "work" around the clock there. I have been alternating between the 2 numbers (for an hour) letting it ring until someone at the annex just terminates the call. There has to be an easier way to get in touch with someone when you have an issue with your rural carriers. This is ridiculous. Answer the damn phone and fix your f*** ups! .

missing mail for over 2 months, mail office left note to call number to retrieve mail. have called that number now over 50 times over a week period and no one has answered. Confirmed with mail man that is the correct and only number. So how am i supposed to resolve any issues if they dont even answer their phones. wish i could switch post offices but i guess ill have to wait till i move.

Where is my package??? Just moved to Roanoke this week and my package is missing. Says I requested to pick it up, not true. I'm here to pick it up, but it's not here. Says they left a note, there is no note. On the phone with USPS now and they don't know where my package is either. I'm really upset and I think they are trying to steal my stuff or don't want to do their jobs. I pay taxes, I pay for you to have a job. Bring me my package!

I put in for a hold on my mail when we were on vacation. It was not held. Yesterday, our carrier crammed our mail in the box and tore up half of it. We used to have a good carrier but he left.

For whatever reason our postal carrier decided to, instead of delivering my package, claim I requested pick up. This is completely untrue. I try calling your 1 800 number. After two ridiculous attempts to schedule a redelivery because your system can't seem to understand me spelling my name, it says I can't get it redelivered for a week. A WEEK. Hold time on the phone is over an HOUR. I don't even know where my package is because the postal person did not leave any sort of slip. This happens every time I try to get a package delivered from usps. I'm going to make every effort to avoid using you all from now on. What's the point in paying for delivery if I end up having to pick it up myself? I also have a newborn which makes this completely inconvenient. Not to mention your employees are constantly in our building complaining and talking on the phone. Pretty sure I'd get fired from my job if I did that.
