What started as a stressful morning turned into a great experience. I got a flat while driving on 495 and after changing my tire, I came here to get some help. From the moment I called to when I left, Jamal was amazing! He was super friendly and very knowledgeable. His calm demeanor definitely helped with my stress level! I would definitely recommend coming here!

We have been using Virginia Tire and Auto of Springfield since we moved to this area in 2007. Both my husband's and my car have been regularly maintained and repaired at this shop, and we were consistently pleased with the quality, timeliness and cost of their services. But currently (Jun 2022) we have found it woefully undermanned, overwhelmed and unable to handle the workload in a timely manner. Frustrations begin with disconnects in scheduling and continue through miscommunication between staff. Their corporate online scheduling system is apparently not connected with actual workforce availability at the local sites, which has resulted on two occasions in the past 6 months of us showing up to drop off our car for an appointment, only to be told they actually can't see us for another week. Next, communications amongst staff members is disjointed, resulting in us having to repeat the description of the issues to multiple times. It is clear that the workforce is inadequate for the workload they are being signed up for. If this was just once or twice, we would be happy to stick with them. They have all the maintenance records on our cars. But we have used their service more than three times this year already. And the situation has not improved. It appears our only option will be to take our business elsewhere.

Price was right so I decided to use Virginia Tire & Auto instead of my usual mechanic. Upon arriving at my scheduled appointment time, there was only one girl at the counter. No activity in three bays, although each had a car up on the lift. Finally dropped off my keys and walked around the strip mall for a little while. Came back about 30 minutes later and saw my car was still sitting in the parking lot. After asking, the girl said mine was the last car of the day. So I sat and waited. And waited. And waited. Around 5pm (two hours after my appointment time) I inquired again and was told my tires were delivered to a different location. WHY WAS THIS INFORMATION BEING TOLD TO ME NOW INSTEAD OF BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?? I was offered a loaner car and told I could come back the next day. I don’t want to blame the staff because it appeared that there was little oversight and poor communication from management. The staff all seemed stressed and frustrated. My tires are fine, and I prefer to give business to local stores, but don’t go here if you’re in a hurry or expecting a lot of attention.

Edited because I didn't have some facts correct. 1. Not on time 2. Oil Change and tire inspection/ hoped repair took 26 hours 3. Cashier was mad that we showed up at closing time after we were told to show up at closing time 4. Tire wasn't repaired and she was charged for a tire repair. 5. Tire Pressure light still on My girlfriend had scheduled her car appointment and had the confirmation for 2:30 and when she showed up they said they couldn't get her in because their online reservation was down and they never got it. Not a big deal because we were told that we can leave the car overnight and that they can have it ready in the morning. Next morning, we call and we are told that the car won't be ready until the end of the day even though we were told that it would be ready at the end of the day. So the car wasn't going to be ready until 6 when they are closing. We were supposed to go to West Virginia but because of the shop we were not able to go. When we picked the car up at 6 the door was locked but it was closing time. We were let in and the guy who worked the register started swearing and showing attitude that we arrived when we were told to arrive. I mean this could have been avoided if the car was finished that morning like we were told would happen. On top of that the car had a low tire pressure indicator on. She asked to get it looked at and they said they couldn't find the problem and charged her for the repair that didn't take place and all they did was put air in the tire. She swears by Virginia Tire & Auto and she goes to the one in Tysons but this location we will not go to. I am sorry to leave this review but my girlfriend was treated poorly and paid for repairs that didn't happen

This location has a horrible communication between the employees and the client. I went because I needed to fix one light, the tire pressure light was on on the dashboard, and I needed to get an inspection. They told me I didn't passed inspection and I had to change tires, fix the light, and two sensors. I schedule an appointment to do it next day since they said "They had the tires in stock and also the electrician was going to be there that day to fix the light". Next day they charged me again for the checking (It's not my fault that the electrician didn't checked it the first day), and they fixed the lights but didn't do the rest because they didn't have the tires. I went again a third time a couple days later to change the tires, and they only had 3 tires... I picked up the car at 5pm and the tires were not ready. So they put the old tires back (Again, nothing got done that day, just wasting money in Uber). I left the place and my car was shaking, and then I found out that 2 Lug Studs were missing in one of my tires. It was in a plastic bag in the back seat of the car. -They never said anything about this to me while I was there. I had to drive my car like that shaking during the entire weekend, also, the tire pressure signal was still on in my dashboard. I went back a fourth time and again they made me pay for labor to replace those two Lug Studs. It took me 4 visits, 2 times paying for checking, 3 times paying for labor and 8 times paying +$20 each time for Uber. IT WAS RIDICULOUS. I'll never go back or recommend this shop to anyone. I'm very disappointed with their services.

I was disappointed with their bad service. I went there for the first to get tires and a battery replacement, as well as an inspection renewal. I ended up going there twice because the place was packed at 8:45 am. The first day I was told I should get an inspection even though I told them my car wouldn't pass and I just needed 2 tires and a battery. At the time I was given a quote and a 7:30 appointment for the next day. When I arrived the next day, the girl at front desk with short curly hair could not find my name in the computer. No one bothered to record my appointment and didn't have a record of the quote or tire info. I asked for the Manger, he never came out. She had to recreate everything from the previous day, then tried to give me an appointment for another day. As people came in she proceeded to tell them they were backed up at already 8:00am because they had a walk-in, referring to me. She never once apologized. After waiting an hour I was so disgusted with the lack of professionalism I asked for my keys back and left. I was late 45 minutes to work and out of 20 for the inspection I didn't need at the time. I ended up going to Mr Tire where I was seen the same day and the same tire was $30 cheaper, saving me $60 for 2 tires. However I will also have to pay for a second inspection. You would think that Virginia Tire would be grateful to have a new customer. I will never go there again. They should train their customers service personnel how to use the computer and keep better records. What a waste of time!

2.5 hours for a simple tire plug. What was the purpose of me setting up an appointment? For that amount if time, they could have at least brought the pressure in the other three tires up to the same level. Front desk was focused on everything else but the customer with one rep complaining to the other that management was unhappy about how he talked to customers. Last time the kid put my new tires on the wrong rims. Gotta find a new tire place.

I'd been to my dealership TWICE for this over several months, and they assured me the leak was "normal" variation on the digital tire pressure sensor. VA Tire and Auto found the issue in 3 minutes, patched it in 30, and I was out the door $32 later.

My car went up in smoke Wednesday I pushed it to the lot Thursday morning I go to see if they could run a diagnostic and I came back before the end of the day and they told me I just needed gas!!! I got gas and Friday morning I’m back on the side of the road in DC with smoke 💨 and no way to get home!!! This was the most lazy thing I’ve ever experienced. After arguing with the associate about needing more information for the diagnosis he said just get gas and carried on. I will never take my car back Service: General repairs & maintenance
