The only parts store I was treated well in the entire area. I felt like the employees were wanting to earn my business rather than be dismissive like the competition. The only parts store ill be shopping regardless of price.

This company is will not hire you for writing bad check from back in 1998 Yes I typed that right I was turned down for a job that I have done for years at other retailers without one issue. Then the GM Chris ( different store ) blows smoke up my backside saying he'd call me once he heard back from HR and the Legal Department. I wasted 4 weeks of my life and turned down a job as I was waiting for this one.

Definitely will start going back. Recommend to everyone. Bought something for the truck and they gave me the correct parts unlike auto zone or bumper to bumper. I'm loving advanced auto parts.

Curtis is the manager of the store I frequent on Milton Ave in Janesville. I've been using the store for over 5 years. It started out as an convenience situation. My loyalty to the store came after it became apparent that Curtis will go out of his way to make sure that whatever parts you're buying are the correct part and that the quality expected is delivered. I will encourage anyone reading this to use Advanced Auto on Milton Ave for all of their automotive needs. The crew of the store are always ready to help. I made an edit due to the fact that I had inserted Auto Zone in my original review. Curtis...this should make you happy. I said I'd edit it, and I did. It was funny though...😂

Just stopped by here to buy an air filter, but everyone in the store (most were employees, some might have been customers) were not wearing masks despite having a sign on the door saying they were required. If you don't care about the health and wellbeing of customers, I don't care to give you business.

Previously, I always went to Advance for smaller things in stock at the location and have never had any complaints. Recently, I needed a new mirror for my car. I called up Curtis at Advance, asking if he could try to find one for me. I had already called bumper to bumper, where I usually get a lot of my parts but they told me they'd call me back (and it's been over a week and I never heard back.) Then, Curtis says, he'll call me back. So, I'm in my head thinking great, I'm going to get blown off again. Keeping in mind, I drive a pretty common car, I didn't think it would be such a big deal. So, on to the next place because I thought i was going to get blown off again, I called O'Reilly's and they told me they couldn't get it at all. Then, Curtis calls back and tells me a price and I could get it on Thursday, which that day was Monday. I call in on Friday, because I was never called to let me know my mirror was in and Curtis, immediately realizes when he called to put my order in, they were closed and he was off the next day after, so my mirror got missed. Now, I'm understanding, people make mistakes, no problem. The mirror is just cosmetic, so I'm not that worried about it because my car still ran even though the mirror was all messed up. Curtis advises it's going to be another couple days. Once again, no big deal. To my surprise, I get a call from Andy, the next morning, letting me know my mirror was in. I hustled up there to grab my mirror, now being Saturday afternoon. Since this item was sent straight from the vendor, I thought it would take a little bit anyways. Got to the store and Andy greeted me at the counter, "you must be Kate, I saw your broken mirror" Of course, I laugh and say yes. We opened the box, made sure it was the correct mirror, perfect match it was. We go to check out. Somehow, with the paper work, there was a mistake made with my pricing on the item. It took a couple minutes for Andy to call Curtis and get it fixed, and I was on the way home. I appreciate the fact that when there was a mistake made, I was told a mistake was made. There was another associate, I believe his name was John bought my small son, a bag of chez-its while we were waiting for Andy to talk to Curtis to get pricing fixed. All in all, the service was a tiny bit patchy, but I will return in the future, strictly based off the integrity, the friendly and thorough service will be the basis of my return. Keep Up The Good Work Curtis & Andy!

Went in pretty late past night due to a check engine light. When I walked in all the employees came forward and greeted me right away. We went out to run a diagnostic test on my car. The employee helping me didn't recognize the code and went out of his way to do searches to help find the problem/solution. He was very helpful and determined to figure out my cars issue.
