We are a local anthem business and the last time we used this location to print our programs last minute and the owner was awesome. The owner told me to keep him in mind when we did bulk print again (we spent a decent amount of money) so I wanted to bring our business back to him. WE WILL NOT BE COMING BACK AFTER TODAY. I called to speak with him regarding another large print order and got a female manager who was extremely rude. The manager practically laughed at me and was so rude. We will take our business elsewhere. I know it's hard to find employees right now but this lady has to go!

For the record, I very rarely leave a review unless I have a positive shout-out. Today, however, at our local UPS Store, I felt completely overcharged, unappreciated and unvalued. The service I needed was to have my Last Will and Testament Notarized (understanding this is a service I would need to pay for). What I didn’t understand is that I would be charged $10 for each witness signature in addition to the notary’s signature. I was charged $60 total. When I explained that this seemed unreasonable, I was told about “corporate policy.” There was no acknowledgment of my value as a local customer or how unreasonable it is to charge for witness signatures when the employees are working there regardless. I have lived in the Anthem community for 20 plus years. Whenever possible, I keep my spending local to support our community and businesses. I have owned my own business and understand the importance of an excellent reputation when it comes to customer service. Today I felt taken advantage of and unappreciated as a patron. It is very sad to me that thinking beyond the “policy” when it comes to customer service is not a value held by this business. Principle matters most to me, not the money, but that $60 is the last Anthem UPS Store will ever receive from me.

Brayden and Joel totally made my experience at UPS a fantastic one. Not only were they super friendly but they knew what they were doing!!! First an apology to UPS store ,the manager there is always extra kind and the Epitome of customer service, maybe that is why yesterdays interaction hit me just the wrong way to make me actually say something. I 99.9% of the time usually let things go assuming people may be having a bad day. But this bothered me so much. And not to label all young people under the same cloth. I let this bother me more than it should I asked the young man did he at least understand what it was that in my opinion was not right? The young man said he did not understand. It was a great morning nice weather, getting out of the house, seeing people. All good great mood. Come into the UPS store that I have been going to since the week they opened has to be well over ten years. Get in line with my two packages two returns I had to ship back. The young man indicated I can come up, I set my packages down on the counter and before they are even out of my hand the FIRST thing he said to me is "I CAN'T Scan that" I have been dropping these packages off for years here, it was a USPS package so i just need to drop it off as i always do. They can take it. they can make sure that it is picked up by USPS, they can tape it up , make sure it is ready,. they can say Good morning. I know they can do all these things because I have been a customer for over a decade. they can also scan and give a receipt for my other package which was a UPS. But this young person had to immediately point out What He CANT Do. Nothing else. He had to establish what he in unable/unwilling. I asked So you cant take these packages? "I can't scan that one". So there are some things you can do? "I can take them but I Cant scan that" He seemed intent on making sure of want he doesn't have to do. It jarred me out of my nice morning. I said to him ..You don't start off an interaction with a customer with how you CAN'T help them. "Well I CAN'T scan that" he said again. I said "I am sorry, I should not be so bothered but do you at least understand my point? You do not start an interaction with a customer with a negative" He said that he did not understand the point and that it is not a negative. Not sorry for the point in itself. Any customer service whether it is Retail or a Services position, you NEVER start your interactions with how you CANNOT help someone. You can ALWAYS help even if it is to direct the person to the place or people who CAN do what is needed.

The staff are generally knowledgeable and helpful BUT the manager - is TERRIBLE!! For example, I requested a simple delivery price on an item going to the next U.S. state, I was quoted a bunch of things all higher priced and not the simple service I asked for. So I took that same package to the local post office where they quoted and shipped it far cheaper and zero hassles!! I am certain I barely had to say few words with USPS but with this UPS store it was like explaining neuroscience. The same thing happened with requesting a fingerprint card. Bring anything up with the manager and he always argues that you’re wrong, well noted in his responses here. This review is not going to mean a thing to me - but that manager has poor customer service, critical thinking or business skills.

This store is the best UPS store we've ever used! I've used several in Seattle and Phoenix, but none compares to the knowledgeable customer service offered here! I just wish they'd relocate to the Vistancia area where we live. If not, it's worth the drive to Anthem for great, courteous service!
