Convenient, efficient, friendly post office location! I greatly appreciate this post office and prefer to do all my business and mailing at this location. My local post office, in Palm Harbor, has a horrible reputation. I've had several issues with this facility and chose to avoid it. The Oldsmar Post Office is worth the extra effort and mileage. This is one nicest, friendliest, and most efficient postal facilities. There is ample parking, seldom a long waiting time, and very pleasant, efficient employees. This is a full service postal service facility. It has all the postal services available, including passport services (to my knowledge, the passport assistance requires an appointment) This post office is located conveniently in Oldsmar, on Tampa Road.

The oldsmar post office had improved in quality of employees after Covid. Today I received the WORST customer service from the older clerk with the wrapped hand. She avoided assisting the line of customers out the door while she chatted with someone in the back. Then took her time putting away everything she could to avoid helping customers. Many witnesses to this behavior. The other 2 usually helpful employees were assisting with passports. This woman needs to go!!!

I will never understand why you won’t deliver mail properly. A car was not blocking the mailbox, plenty of room to pull up to get to the mailbox, but would of had to reverse to go around the car on the street. So that makes you not deliver the mail. Why? Because you’re just lazy. Whatever gets the job done faster. Does not matter to you guys if someone doesn’t get their mail because you get paid either way. Constant issue, never changes, I despise these carriers.

First time I used this post office and I was very impressed. There were enough employees to take care of the line of customers and another helping people in line with many things in many cases without them asking.

My package went out for delivery on the fifth with an error saying “DELIVERY STATUS NOT UPDATED”. The post office phone number doesn’t work, only busy signal or hangs up. And the automated messaging system in place is completely in effective. How can my package be marked “out for delivery” but have no status? And to add insult to injury there is no way to contact a human with out physically driving in.

Once again this post office has failed to deliver important mail to my house. This time they report delivery of important medicine from the VA and they did not. It’s I don’t know where. This problem reoccurs far too often. In 27 years in my house I’ve had to deal with this ad nauseum. Once it was a valuable 1963 baseball card. I have no faith in this post office. And, oh yeah, they lost my vehicle registration and I had to jump through hoops to get replacements. And yesterday I got my neighbor’s mail.

Items to improve on: Work on greeting the customer, having a can- do attitude, and treating customers with respect. There is no sense of customer satisfaction at this location. The reason I went to the post office was for further help that I cannot receive online. Once I was sure of the best method of sending my package, I asked for a piece of tape. The sales representative helping me said she didn't have any and that none of the other associates had any either. When I looked over to my right, the very next sales associate had tape right in front of her. I shared this with my sales representative, but she did nothing so I asked the representative next to us "Do you mind if I have a piece of tape?". Her reponse was "You just interrupted me." While I understand different people work in different ways, I believe the sales representative could've handled this situation better. When I am pleasant and kind, I expect the same in return. I did not catch her name, but she had mid-length dark brown hair.

Extremely rude and unhelpful staff.I went to renew a passport. They first said I do not have an appointment although I made an appointment over the phone and arrived 10 minutes early to it. After two employees spending 15 min looking at the appointment book (handwritten), they said they cant help me as they cant find my appointment noted. The place was empty with over 5 employees just standing there and could have helped me regardless. It seemed like they were quite annoyed to be working. Finally one employee said I should try the court house which I did and they were able to help me immediately. The whole process took less than 10 minutes. Please do not go there for passport services. Court house personnel are professional, efficient and pleasant unlike the workers at the USPS, Oldsmar. By the way, don't even try to make an appointments at any of the Tampa USPS offices. I called over 25 times at different times for 3 days, and still could not get through.

I have had constant problems with mail since I've moved to Oldsmar. I often get things that are for other condo units in my box and twice last year I had unemployment checks for myself be given to neighbors who thankfully brought them to my door or I would have had a major issue trying to get the government to reissue them. Today I had arranged for a package I need to sign for to be redelivered, upon speaking to the mailman he tells me they tried to redeliver it on Wednesday instead. I clearly stated FRIDAY 9/9 when I called the USPS # to arrange re-delivery. Now I have to go through the inconvenience of driving to the post office to pick it up because they can't seem to get the simplest things right.
