The hairdresser was wonderful. However, I was disappointed to learn that that was their last day open in that location in Wesley Chapel. There was a big sign out front, "Now Open". I heard the employees were only told they were closing the week before.

We paid for 2 washes, shampoos, and light blow drys. We got DRY trims. No washing. No drying. She didn’t even bother to part my hair. Wouldn’t cut my bangs. Barely brushed it. No cleanliness. My mother bought these for us as a treat and you took advantage of a kind woman. I did not want to ruin her day, but you should be ashamed of the lack of quality and integrity You literally took $40 to do nothing. This was the worse haircut I’ve had. Ever.

(This is under my boyfriends account) But it was my first time going here to get anything done- I just wanted to lighten my hair up a little but everywhere else i called was ridiculously priced so I tried Fantastic Sam’s in Wesley Chapel and got Caitlin as my hairstylist and she was AMAZINGGGG!!! This is my new home for my hair- hands down! The prices are so affordable! The color turned out BEAUTIFUL and she was so sweet and welcoming!! I absolutely loved her and I HIGHLY recommend her!! Had a couple good experiences here in the past, but recently went in for a haircut at the Wesley Chapel location at 1752 Bruce B Downs. The person cutting his hair must have been inexperienced hair stylist. She did a Sloppy job cutting my hair (crooked, uneven, inconsistent and stray hair poking out all over). I called to speak to the manager Debra who chose not to talk to me directly and had another employee named Christina handle the situation. I was told I could go back to have his haircut fixed by Sue that evening and that they would let her know he would be coming to see her. When I showed up and Sue told me no one informed her and that she would be going to lunch and refused to fix the problem. I had to demand a refund and ended up going to a competitor nearby (Supercuts was much better in service and quality by the way) to get this embarrassing haircut fixed. I called to speak to Debra the next day and she would not take or return any of my calls. I then reached out to corporate through email and the owner of that store Brian called and left me a voicemail. I have called him multiple times and left him voice messages in an attempt to allow them to show they care, and have yet have to hear back from him a month later. I tried to give them a fair chance. We will never come back to nor recommend anyone to this unprofessional place of service. Do yourself a favor if you value your money and hair go else where. Love this location! All the stylists are friendly and make sure you get the cust, style and color you want. I've been going here for 6 years and my experiences and hair styles ( which are ever- changing) have always been excellent.

I am VERY particular about my hair and had been nervous about getting a MUCH needed postpartum hair cut (I had some hair loss plus my hay had not been cut in like a year and a half). My mother-in-law has seen Erin before and she did a beautiful job on her hair so I told my mother-in-law to sign me up and today, we went to Erin and she cut both our hair. Erin did EXACTLY what I wanted! I’m very happy with my cut. A lot of places will cut what they think will look good, are scissor happy, or just don’t get it right. Also, Erin takes her time - no rushing and she makes certain you are happy with your length. She’s very sweet and we just really enjoyed her.

I was concerned because of the low ratings but had called around to different places and didn't want to pay 15 or higher for a boy's haircut. Fantastic Sam's was offering an $8.95 special and that sounded great. My son was nervous because he rarely likes his haircuts so most of the time I just do them myself since he never likes the ones I pay for anyway. The staff here was great trying to help him find a pic he liked and taking time with him. Mirtha did his cut and she was great. My son said it is the best haircut he has ever had and is so happy. And he said all the people were very very very nice. :) Thankful for a great experience!

I'm not sure why the low ratings. I have been taking my son for haircuts on a monthly basis and it has always been a pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly and they have very competitive prices. I usually only pay $8.95 for my son's haircuts. I would suggest making an appointment on the weekends. They do take walk-ins but it's usually busy on Saturdays and Sundays.

I went to this place today. When I read the reviews I was a little skeptical but had no choice but to go there as my son badly needed a haircut. But the guys there proved the reviews wrong. I was very impressed with the detailed cut and professional they showed. I got my sons haircut from a guy called John and I highly recommend him. He did a fantastic job. This place is a keeper if Johns around!!

I understand now why some of the reviews for this salon are so bad. The woman at the counter who "greeted" me was rather curt, to the point of being rude. Although the price on the board said $15.95 for an adult shampoo, hair cut, and lite dry she said she would charge me an additional $3.00 for layers. I have straight, fine, shoulder length hair that's pretty basic to work with, and I've never heard of charging extra for layers (it's all I ever get). I left and went to the Ultra Cuts around the corner next to Office Depot. They didn't up-charge for anything AND were friendly from the moment I opened the door. Fantastic Sams should do the same.
