I went to the store looking for a pair of UGGS my daughter said she wanted for her birthday. And I happened to walk through a department on the first floor where I was assisted by two extremely friendly sales associate ladies. I've was able to walk out of the store with three purchases. One was shipped to me because they had sold out. I received the package on the date that she told me I would and it was an overall great shopping experience. The store was well organized, clean and I didn't have to look for an associates for assistance.

I love just checking out their shoe section because they always have discounts! Found a super cute pair of Gianni bini's in pink and they are soooo comfortable! When I put them on it felt like they had memory foam padding. I normally have a hard time with shoes and get blisters but with these babies I know that won't be an issue. They also have this pair in black and baby blue! Snagged a pair X-Section loafers for my man, he's super picky when it comes to shoes and when he tried them on he had a huge smile on his face! They are made with real Brazilian leather, an added bonus is that they also have memory foam comfort footbeds!

The inventory is great but the Dillard's facility at Oak Park Mall is horribly worn down. The rugs are filthy, full of stains on old mauve and teal-colored rugs and with that colored paint on the walls from the 1980's. I have been shopping in this store since I was a kid and am saddened that the management has let the maintenance of the store go to pot. I saw dog paw stains and spilled drink stains on the rug when I visited the store today. If the management doesn't do something to fix this, they will not be able to compete with other retailers that maintain their stores better or against online retailers.

This is a larger and older Dillard's location. It's been here for over 40 years. The Oak Park location actually has two separate stores. One of the stores, which I'm reviewing, is the women's clothing, purses, shoes, cosmetics, sunglasses and dresses. This is a very nice store with all of the name brands that an upscale department store of any kind might have. You will find Michael Kors, DKNY, Vince Camuto, BCBG, the list goes on and on. Pretty much any major name department store label will be found here. Dillard's is known for their shoe selection and it is truly extensive. I bought my last pair of walking shoes here. It was a brand I had not heard of before called BZees. (They get very high marks from women for their comfort factor.) One of the downsides about Dillard's is that they have very few coupons or sales aside from seasonal clearance items. If you want something at a discount you pretty much have to wait until they decide to mark it down. The mark ups can be kind of steep, as well. I bought a pair of sunglasses only to find that they were marked up 3x what I could find them online - fail! Make sure to comparison shop online. All in all this is a very nice store with a great collection of merchandise.

I love everything about Dillard's! Wonderful merchandise in all departments. There is seriously something for everyone. The shoe department is my favorite and never disappoints. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and will even offer fashion forward suggestions if you feel lost! I'd shop here every day if my bank account would allow!

Nice store but the lady who 'waited' on us in housewares was NOT friendly at all. Hopefully it was just because she was having a really bad day. Sorry we had to bother her long enough to purchase some items.

Excellent store for all your apparel needs for Homecoming and Prom. Hundreds of dresses to choose from and we found one! Friendly staff and fair pricing.

I'm an older woman, but I still like to dress well. I'm a size 16 you offer nothing worth while in my size. All of the cloths that look like anything only go up to a size 12 or 14. Anything larger than that is for little old ladies. Please do better, this is why I don't usually shop there except to by shoes.

I have spent weeks looking for a white dress for my bridal shower that does not look like a prom dress. Looked through every store at the mall and finally found a large selection in Dillards! Saved my butt in the nick of time.

This is still the best traditional department store in town for Menswear. Women's section really lacking- menswear is where they shine. Traditional store workers who work on commission and will help you find an outfit. So if you are competely fashion dumb you can just walk in, tell them where you want to go and they will dress you to look marvelous.
