I would actually rate this store and it's staff 4 or 5 stars. but, my experience with spectrum overall has been TERRIBLE. while I greatly appreciate they don't put you on hold for an hour before you even talk to someone (like Consolidated), and I love that the people who answer calls actually speak English as their first language, that's where my satisfaction ends. everything else about spectrum absolutely, completely, totally SUCKS. spectrum is so bad it almost makes me think about going back to Consolidated. and that's BAD.

There commercials about being the best quality internet are a lie. Met three other people having same issue with streaming services while using Spectrum. Website says equipment can be dropped at any store but representative said no receipt could be given. Asked for a manager and was told no manager would be available till Monday. Took equipment to UPS. I think it is crazy when the website says something and the store does not honor it

Cannot call the store, the number posted here connects you to Spectrum customer service and, according to them, it is physically impossible to contact the store. You HAVE to go to the store. So you're S.O.L. if you live a fair distance away. I'd get a different provider but they have a monopoly where I live...I have no choice but to get Spectrum. I will be finding other ways around their stranglehold on my area...maybe Verizon might have an internet service...you know...the one they've been advertising about?

AVOID using Spectrum as a provider if you are in the area. I moved in June of 2021 and physically turned my equipment into this store in either late June or early July. Last month, August of 2022, I received a collections notice for $120. I found out this was a fee for equipment that was unreturned. I received statements via email in August and September of 2021 addressed to an "Alexander". I don't know anyone by that name. I can only assume it was the resident that moved into my old apartment. I've been trying unsuccessfully to remove this erroneous charge from my credit report for the past month or two. I have no idea what's up with their billing system but it's full of errors and it's affecting my credit score very negatively.

The internet service itself was fine for years. Then one day, the billing system started sending my payments to an old account and Spectrum could not find a solution. I spent hours working through this with reps across 3-4 months. Finally, I cancelled. The rep told me I had a zero balance and a few weeks later, I received a late bill. The service itself is fine, but their billing and customer service is a mess.

Terrible customer service, they just don’t care. Told the girl at the front desk about my horrible customer service experience on the phone and she wasn’t any better. Told her that they were supposed to take out our auto pay almost a month ago, verified information and they have still failed to do so. They are blowing my girlfriends phone up all day, threatening with shut off notices and reconnection fees, blah blah blah. Then to top it all off they raised our Wi-Fi from $54.99 to $64.99 with no notice and zero explanation at the store, after it only being active for a month. Usually don’t leave reviews except for positive, but I am just baffled at their lack of professionalism, competency and just plain out apathy. Going to be looking for a new Wi-Fi provider immediately

If you have a choice, do not chose Spectrum. Customer service is terrible. I was a Spectrum customer for many years, mainly due to they were the only internet provider in my area. I have recently switched to another company that came to my area. When I cancelled the service with Spectrum on the phone, they instructed me to return the equipment to my nearest office. 15 miles away, I did that come to find out that it has to be returned to any UPS store. So I returned it to the UPS store (which I have one 2 miles from my house) I cancelled my service 3 days after the billing cycle ended, but still have to pay entire month even though I have already returned all equipment. They claim they do not prorate their bills. As frustrated as I am with all this, I realize I am finally done dealing with this company, which gives me great relief. I hope to never have to deal with Spectrum for home internet again.

I'd like to comment on my recent experience. I've had a couple of hick ups with my internet, but thankfully Mr. Lauren Walker, and Mr. Brent Strecker took their time to address my concerns. All of my issues have been resolved. I am a very grateful new customer.
