I don't get a lot of the bad reviews, I've only had good customer service here. I believe a lot of the reviews are classic JOCO entitlement. The staff is friendly and helpful. This type of business the customer has to come prepared. If you put the wrong label on your package chances are it's going to the wrong place. All shipping services have long waits, as they have a lot of information to enter so this isn't a place to go if you're in a hurry. Sometimes packages get lost or damaged in the shipping process, the staff at the UPS store has nothing to do with that. Lastly, don't call ANY store with specific, time consuming questions.Most stores do not have the staff to spend 10 min with you on the phone answering a question that you could have googled if you weren't lazy. While they're listening to you ramble they have a customer in their face who will leave a 1 star review because it took so long. If you're realistic in your expectations then you will be pleased with the service they provide.

I hate leaving this store a bad review because it is the closest location to my house, and I'm there at least twice a month either printing something or shipping something. I have used this location exclusively for around 5 years now. I went in today to ship something internationally for Christmas and the guy at the counter was nice so nothing against him, but the owner who was standing next to him was SO RUDE. He condescendingly told me that they do not ship internationally due to the Covid-19 pandemic which I thought was odd because I know UPS ships internationally and they have a sign with pricing behind the counter. He talked down to me and told me it was an independently owned location and he chooses not to. Fine, that's his choice and I am not bothered by him choosing not to ship internationally, but I am bothered by the way he spoke to me as if I was a small child who didn't understand that there was a pandemic going on and why that was a valid excuse. I called around to 3 other stores in the area and they all ship internationally so I don't know why this location chooses not to, but I will never go here again after the way I was spoken to today, as if I was an inconvenience, and that's a shame.

I've been a mailbox customer at this location for about a dozen years. Recently, I was on the phone with them trying to track a package. I had a few questions, so it was taking a couple of minutes. Wasn't long until the manager(?) got on the line and said they had to hang up, because they had customers in the store. So I guess paying $300 a year to have a mailbox doesn't qualify me as a customer?! Other than this once instance tho, I've had no complaints and they have always been friendly when I'm there in person.

This used to be a good location. Sadly, over the past month we've noticed that the staff is becoming surly and condescending. Also, unfortunately, they have made some mistakes in shipping & labeling, so I no longer trust this location. I noticed others are posting about them charging for Amazon returns even as Amazon instructs customers to drop off items without any fees. Are they pocketing these extra charges? It's a bit much.

I returned a package to this location and when they were printing my receipt their printer broke. The guy wrote down my "tracking number" on a post-it note and assured me it got into the system and I was good. Now a couple of weeks later my return has not been processed. I go to check on the tracking and the number on the post-it isn't working. I call this UPS store and spoke with Joe and was literally told "that's on you." I was shocked and can honestly say I have never been treated that way. The tracking number on my label says it can't be found as well and the only direction they give me is an it's not our problem call the 1-800 number for UPS. I don't even have a working tracking number or a printed receipt! What are they going to be able to do for me?! Insane.

UPDATE: This post was meant for the UPS location at 119th and Metcalf so I will be posting there. I appreciate Mark, the manager following up with me. I was very unhappy my sturdy decorative boxes for my niece's bachelorette party did arrive in tact. I paid UPS to pack with protective stuffing, provide the box and ship yesterday. Almost $40 to go to Fort Dodge, Ia ground and this is how my gifts arrived. Either it was not packed as promised or somebody loved throwing my package around with zero care or concern to create so much damage to the contents. I will think twice before letting them do my packaging moving forward. Especially if it needs to arrive looking like it did before it left. Disappointed is an understatement.
