10 Best discount store in Birmingham, Alabama (AL) 2024

I hardly ever go to this store. However, I went yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of clearance items they had. The absolutely blew me away there were so many deals I was not able to take advantage of them all. The staff was more than courteous and answered all the questions that I asked. ~Caldwell

This store is never OPEN !!!!! Employees are always iINSIDE!!! I’m sure they are getting paid to be INSIDE!!! Internet says they are OPEN !!!! but they are ALWAYS CLOSED !!!!! So I think it’s best to PERMANENTLY CLOSE!!!!!! Take them off the schedule !!!take the signs down !!!and put the building up for sale to some one who will actually be OPEN to customers !!!thanks in advance ~What’s

Stock in carts on sales floor. Products stacked on floors. Messy. Hard to get around, accessibility ♿ was an issue. ~Karrawinds

In the middle of shopping, I had an urgent need to use the restroom, and when I asked the staff for access to it, I was told that customers were not allowed to use the restroom, and that I would have to go to another store in the strip mall. I had to leave my basket of items, and hunt down another store's public restroom, while still needing to use it in a hurry. It was an EXTREMELY inconvenient situation, not to mention physically uncomfortable. Yet, it could have been avoided by a simple unlocking of a door. It was not good business. Especially considering that I chose to spend my money in the OTHER store, and never returned to Citi Trends to purchase the cart FULL of merchandise left behind! Management should seriously reconsider their policy on refusing the restrooms to their customers. It is not at all beneficial... either way you look at it. And, I, for one, will not be back until the policy is revised, and I can shop without running the risk of getting a bladder infection, or experiencing the embarrassment of a grown woman pee-pants catastrophe! 😒 Ummm..No. ~Janice

Keyona was very patient & helpful with our furniture purchase and return /exchange. She went over and beyond to make it a smooth transition for us. I have stopped here several times and always found the personnel to be nice and helpful. Got what I needed and usually cheaper than anywhere else. I buy snacks here, they have brand names. ~Larry

I had a problem with a refrigerator I bought from them in December. Let me tell ya'll the best customer service any where. The manger Miguel was fantastic he got in touch with his area manger Samantha . They replaced my refrigerator and I had the best most professional delivery guys named Jordan and his helper bring it tonight and set it up. They were here till 9 pm. Will use them again anytime. They went beyond and above to fix the problem. ~Leanne

Everything time I go to that store it’s close. Today I went and the manager had the door lock and there were 4 cars watching for him because he had a note on the door said he will be back in 15 minutes. Then he walked out the store and locked the door and I said to him that you have customers out here. He told me that he had to go pickup someone and dot would take him 15 min to get back. So me and the three other cars left. Bad serve. ~Mildred

The store was open today after two months I only hope they can open up the store every day instead of one day out of the month if something can be done with management it would be a great store ~Robert
