Shocked by how rude the woman working today 10/20 @1:00-2pm ish was. Wouldn’t make eye contact with me or my mother… we asked if they had any high waisted jeans vs the mid rise and she said that “lucky doesn’t make them like that” and I pointed at a sign that showed every style that lucky sells. The sign showed high waisted, when I asked if they had the Drew Boyfriend high waist in store, she said “maybe on the front table”. Wouldn’t make eye contact and just leaned against the cash register refusing to move…. I went digging around the table and found a couple high waisted styles. At that point we just left because it was so uncomfortable. Me and my mom were really surprised as we were the ONLY ones in the store with two employees just standing there.

There are a myriad of ways to get current Lucky Brand clothing at brick and mortar establishments--at their own retail stores, at major department stores like Macy's, at discounters like TJ Maxx and Marshalls, and at their Outlet stores. The odd thing is that the items stocked are NOT consistent from one store to another. Some items (in specific colors) might only be at one of the above spots. Others will be available at varying prices at multiple venues. So, it's a good idea to shop around. That said, if you see something at TJ Maxx that you really like....buy it. You probably won't do better on price elsewhere. But the Outlet store at Assembly may NOT be cheaper than, say, a sale at Macy's or the regular Lucky stores. That said, the Outlet store seems to carry regular Lucky merchandise and not just junkier versions and factory seconds--as is often the case with outlets. It is a nice store with constantly changing stock. Staff are friendly and it is an easy shopping experience. I pop in regularly during Trader Joe's runs, and often make a purchase.

My favorite place to get pants. The linen pants/shirts have a draw string so you don't need a belt.

The store manager was extremely rude. I could have wandered the store for an hour without her asking if I needed help. I came back a week after I bought one pair of jeans to get a second pair because I was told I had 30 days to get 50% off the second pair, and the manager would not honor that since they had a new promotion going on (not my fault another employee mis-informed me)...I will not be returning and probably won’t buy another pair of lucky jeans. Pretty sad that this all came from a manager who is supposed to be setting a good example for all employees. I’ll be honest I really like the jeans I bought, but hey - there’s plenty of other brands that sell a nice pair of jeans.

I went to Lucky Brand yesterday when it opened. Once I walked in, I was greeted right away by the woman working. She asked if I was looking for anything specific and then brought me directly to that section and helped me find my size and style. She also told me about all the sales. Pleasant experience. I will be going back.
