Be very careful purchasing from this store. They have a strict 90 day return policy that doesn’t take into account that you spent a lot there and just had a contractor that flaked on you, so you needed to find another. The bathroom/ light combo was unopened and pristine.. They don’t make concessions at that point or store credits.. so from now on it’s Menards for us, hopefully they have a good selection for the other bathroom and soon our new deck.. that in itself will cost them way more than they took from me for a bathroom fixture..

Good Sunday Afternoon, We recently returned from doing business at our local Lowe's Home Improvement, located at 18375 Wright St ·in Omaha, NE. As we searched for a solar-powered backyard light, an employee warmly greeted us. He was able to tell us about the "Portfolio" display on the end of an aisle near lawn and garden. He advised us that there were many more options in Aisle 10. His name badge said KAIGE. He was correct! We selected a HARBOR BREEZE 10-lumen item to attach to the top of our model lighthouse that adorns the corner of our back yard. He was informative and friendly. THANK YOU! I'm not sure if the varies home supply stores just take turns on their prices for who is the best, but Lowes has always come through for me when I needed it. I have a little bit easier time finding items here than at the competitors. Other than that, nothing stands out much to me, but I'm usually only needing odds and ends.

The lowes has pretty good collection! We went there for the carpet cleaner rental! Went pretty smooth! Except the old guy standing in front of those cleaners was not helpful at all. I hope its not usual and he was just having a bad day

If you like Lowe's, make the extra drive to the one out West on 180th if you can. Plants are shipped in by the thousands and while nothing beats a local greenhouse like Wenninghoffs, even among big box stores plants are not taken care of well at this location.

Bought some mulch here; it was the wrong color (my fault.) I went back and they were fine with me just swapping them out for the right color. When I was out by the mulch pallets, there was somebody ready to help unload the wrong mulch AND load the correct mulch. Overall a great experience.

Came in to get a carpet cleaner in customer service today and had a very unpleasant experience. The lady was unwilling to work with me. I asked for the carpet cleaner for rent, she immediately said “I don’t have one”. I said there’s one located in the rental box, I went to look before I came over here. She then told me “there’s a sign that says out of order”. There was no sign on the cart. The cashier located in the area was clueless to what customer service was talking about. Once I went back, she finally decided to walk to look and I was right. She said “well that’s what someone told me” instead of just helping me from the beginning. Her attitude was so short, so rude I just decided to not rent and go grab a rug doctor from Home Depot.

This Lowes used to be such a great store – I bought carpet, flooring, and appliances and had good experiences. But apparently the management has changed. I needed to exchange a $200 outdoor rug for the exact same thing in a different pattern and the unfriendly, gruff, impolite service desk man told me “we don’t do exchanges – you HAVE TO return this then buy another one at the cash registers.” No, I don’t HAVE TO do anything in your store except make a decision whether or not I want to shop there or leave, So the customer “service “is not really providing service— they might as well have a machine their doing the work which would be less rude than the person that was there doing refunds. So I made the return, grabbed the pattern I decided on, then went to the front cashiers and there were 20 people waiting in line. So I walked back to the garden center and there were 20 people waiting in line with one register open. I guess we all just have to except the fact that with unemployment so low in Omaha we are going to get unfriendly cashiers and bad customer service. I do miss the good old days when there was a “helpful smiling every aisle.”

Peter at the Pro Desk is great. Awesome resource and genuinely concerned about the customer experience. Professional. Lowes had some great deals for a new pro member (which is what I am). Lovelace wish I had one close to my house again. After looking at microwaves at Nebraska furniture Mart and even if it was on their dog a 3-day wait, I found the exact same one I wanted at Lowe's and saved $75
