Sorry to say but it's such a ho hum place. Almost like a morgue. No one talks, no one smiles, no laughter. Two out of 3 Cashiers are unprofessional & rude. I usually drive the extra couple miles to Ace on 57th Center. Maybe the store needs to train staff in Customer Service Skills. I'm not kidding.

It really confuses me the amount of effort people in sales will put in to not make the sale. I came in to get a key duplicated but I wanted to use my own blank. There was no way to pay for a service, instead of a product. You could have sold me a random blank key and used mine. This appears to be a lack of training for your front of shop employees-please make sure they know how to use the manual key cutter. At least he was polite when he referred me to another business.

Ace Hardware is one of the few old school hardware stores left. They carry just about anything you'd need for suburban gardening, house repair, or paint. Staff is usually helpful and courteous which is rare to see when good help can be tough to find. I prefer to shop here rather than driving all the way out to Lowes or home Depot unless absolutely needed.
