STOLE MONEY FROM ACCOUNT. I rented my vehicle back in September and ALL fees were taken out at that time. (Gas Fee) however, here it is in DECEMBER I see a $51.90 charge debited from my bank account. I tried to call the Germantown location as well as the administration office and kept getting the run around!!! DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY, it’s G.H.E.T.T.O , EXTREMELY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE,and you’ll need your WHOLE LIFE HISTORY to rent a RAGGEDY outdated car from them . NEVER AGAIN will I use these hustlers.

Yes I had to jump through a few hoops to prove residency and yes the vehicle I reserved online was unavailable when I arrived but what happened next is why I gave 5 stars. They immediately apologized for my inconvenience and upgraded me into a vehicle at the same rate as my original reservation. Then after I accidentally missed my turn in date, I was called and instead of being accused or threatened, I was asked if there was anything they could do to help. I asked if it was possible to extend my rental for another week and within minutes (on the phone saving me almost an hour of driving back and forth to their office), the gentleman who called me had me taken care of and completely satisfied. THAT is what customer service is all about. Thank you, Budget (Cordova/Germantown), I greatly appreciate you and thank you.

Ridiculous all the info that budget wanted me to provide… I had the documents but still couldn’t rent a vehicle even after I call to register before I went in. Poor communication about what was needed.. I walked right into enterprise and rented a vehicle with no problem. Definitely will not use budget ever again.

After making a reservation online days in advance and for pickup at 12:30 they did not have ANY vehicles on the lot!! I was not the only customer inside trying to pick up vehicles that were pre-reserved online. There was 4 of us that were expecting to pickup a reserved vehicle and yet no vehicles were there!! One gentleman stated he had made 3...yes 3 trips to pick up his rental vehicle that was reserved several days ahead of time! After waiting several hours(putting our trip many hours behind) we finally got a rental!! What’s the purpose of online reservations if you don’t have the vehicles on the lot and ready for pickup at your designated times?? Funny Airport location had plenty of rentals since the representative called to have cars moved to this location which should have been taken care of hours before the customers arrive at designated pick up times!! I’ll never rent from Budget at Cordova again!! I’ll pay the extra airport fees, at least they do their job!

I booked a mini van in Budget through Costco for 11th of Oct about two months in advance. Got a call from budget an hour before pickup saying no vehicle was available. What is tbe point in Reservations if you over book and fail your customer. Poor and unreliable. I had to make other arrangements at last minute for my travel. Unreliable and unprofessional.

Rented a vehicle "like a tahoe" got a dodge durango, was much smaller than any vehicle like a tahoe. Vehicle was dirty inside, used tissue and candy wrappers left inside when I picked it up. Staff wasn't very helpful. Car had drive out tags that expired before I returned it. Won't be renting from them again.

We rented a SUV for a trip we were taking. We made a reservation over 2 months in advance. We arrived at the pick up time noon. The guy working said let's get the paperwork done it is on the way. We did the paperwork. The SUV finnaly came in at 1:45pm we walked around it and left. They closed at 2pm since it was a Saturday. I seen the temp tag on it was issued in November 2017. This is May 2018. I also seen in the glove compartment that someone was cited for driving it with expired tags. Very poor practice. Looks like it is ran by someone who can't afford to put plates on the cars. Also it would chime and display service due on the dash every time I would start it. I should have paid a few more dollars to another company so I would not be in the situation of driving a vehicle with expired tags on it. I would recommend staying away from Budget of Memphis. I know I will.

The WORST experience ever in dealing with Budget. I have rented from Budget several times from different locations and this was, by far, the worst service. On a corporate scale, budget has very vague, backhanded policies and leaves a lot of them to the discretion of the location, which is a great way to set up the customer to have a bad experience. I spoke to 5 different people and got 5 different answers on the rental policy with regard to using a debit card. I didn't want to use a credit card because I don't need to. I'll save that for a worth while purchase. Took the requested documents to pick up the rental, only to be told that there are more documents needed. Had to make a 2nd trip to get the vehicle with the additional docs, all for them to not have the class vehicle we reserved. Was then informed by the rep that did the walk through of the car, that at the time of the 1st visit to pick up the car, they actually had NONE on the lot to even rent, which made me think that was the real reason they sent us away saying we needed more documents. If they do not have the class vehicle you reserved, they don't even give you the difference in cost of your vehicle back! Soo, you mean to tell me that I reserved a full size, you only have a compact car on your lot, and you're STILL going to charge me for a full size??! Also, their vehicles always have a check engine or some other indicator light on! I'm no longer going to torture myself and rent from this company. I'll pay the slightly higher rate and rent from Enterprise, who I've never really had any issues with. There were other issues, but I'd be writing all day. If they dont fix their business practices, I dont see them making it another 10yrs, maybe not even 5. They're already closing locations.

The guy who checked me in for pickup was really fast and efficient. I had called earlier to ask about the possibility of renting an extra day, and he had already done it when I arrived. He also let me switch vehicles when I thought the one I got was much bigger than needed. I had done a lot of searching online about 3 months ago, and got the best price with Budget, which was even better than the "Broker" sites who claim to find the best price. I also like that I didn't have to go to the airport this time and deal with airport parking and fees, since this location allows me to drop off the vehicle after hours. The ONLY thing I don't like about this place is the poor signage if you're travelling north on Germantown Road. Budget isn't included on the shopping center sign and isn't facing the road so you don't see it til you pass it.
