Edit 9/2022. The guy working the window had absolutely no idea what he was doing. He wrote my order down 4 different times, tried to charge me $15.95 for a $8 cheeseburger combo and ended up getting my order wrong. Added lettuce and onions that I did not ask for and gave me crinkle fries when I asked for curly. The burger was good though. Haven't ate here in probably 20 years and it's still just as good now as it was then.

This place has gone through ownership changes over the last couple of years, so it is a little different than before. Their desserts are still great — you can’t go wrong with a strawberry milkshake from here. They also now carry paletas. You can’t get some of the food you used to be able to get — they seem to be focusing on desserts and simplifying their menu.

I do not recommend this place! Each time we go the girl in front is very rude and i honestly don’t know how the owners keep this business alive! So I was told by her rudely that she’s the daughter of the owner, like that was going to do anything special for there business as rude as she was, I highly recommend that you hire someone that isn’t family related. 🤬

Dari Gem is not and never will be like the good ole days there was. The prices are absolutely RIDICULOUS $9 FOR A banana split that's $3 sometimes at Sonic rite down the road! Not to mention the orders get wrote down wrong so therefore that's what the cooks fix and in turn it's wrong! So don't always blame the kitchen staff. And tbh the customer service lately is not ok!!

If I was able to I would go zero stars. Have gone to this place multiple times and customer service leaves something lacking. Several of those times I've gone through the drive-thru just to sit there for 15-20 minutes and would not even be acknowledgment that I'm sitting there waiting. Food orders are constantly wrong. Today was the final straw I placed a big order paid a lot of extra money for bacon. When I picked up the order I asked to verify that they did indeed but the order together correctly due to previous problems, was assured that the order was correct and I drove home half hour away. Upon getting home realize that burgers I ordered bacon and extra lettuce was missing bacon and had a few tiny pieces of lettuce. The blt's I ordered with extra lettuce and extra bacon had two tiny pieces of bacon. When I requested a refund instead of replacing the order I overheard from the kitchen some woman talking smack about what happened. This place has lost a customer that goes there three to four times a week due to their complete disregard for customer service

Nearly FROZEN Curly Fries and Crinkled Seasoned Fries. Ordered at the drive thru. Had to park and wait for two combo meals. I went inside and waited for 15+ minutes. Received my order, drove back to the Dollar Tree, to have my lunch break. My boss, another employee, and myself could not believe how COLD and stale our fries were. If they were fresh they would have been hot. I phoned the store, was put on hold 3 times, and disconnected. On the 4th call, I was not treated as a paying customer, and in her own disrespectful manner, I was pretty much called a liar. notice in the photos there is no grease on the paper, Those Best Choice low budget fries were half frozen. ++UPDATE++ several days later my boss sent me a text explaining that the Dari Gem wanted to makes things right, and to please have me call or come by. Not very interested at first, when I went to work this week my boss had ordered her usual, A double cheese burger with ketchup and mayo. She went to pick up her order, and when she returned, she once again stressed how the Dari Gem really wants to apologize and make things right for having served us nearly frozen fries (that weren't microwaved long enough), the week prior. While debating on if the call was worth it, my boss opened her burger container, and to our surprise, her burger had lettuce, tomato, and onion on it, the patties were cooked to a nearly black color, and the bun was burnt black as well. As she picked off the undesirable salad from her burger, the look on her face was that of not only disbelief, she was discouraged and disgusted at once again not getting what she ordered at the quality she expected. So, I offered to take the burger along with me for my invite to return to Dari Gem. I went to the dreaded eatery, entered, and proceeded to show the young girl at the counter the burger and how it was not what my boss had ordered. I went on to say that the burger was not as it should have been, at that moment the cook? Sandy, came raging out of the back, looked at the burger and proclaimed that she made that burger and doesn't know where the lettuce, onion and tomato came from. Astonished, I replied, by asking if she thought I placed those items on the burger myself? and was she calling me a liar again? She replied and said "I'm not calling you a liar, you're a f#cking b#tch"! The latina at the counter, offered to remake the burger, but all I could do is ask again why I was being called names and treated like a liar, and that I don't want another burger because the food is sh#t! and Sandy called me a f#cking b#tch again. I was told to leave, and I did. They called up to where I work, talked to my boss, but left out the part where Sandy called me a f#cking b#tch over her mistake. A new burger, prepared correctly was delivered to the store for my boss and it was as ordered. This restaurant is low class, and Sandy's choice of words is as bad as her cooking. Also...I went in prepared, I have the whole event on video.

Great service. I came in and ordered 5 combos, mini burgers and asked that they put everything on the side since I was going home to feed men working on my house. They made everything fresh, put extra effort in making sure we had enough lettuce, onions, pickles, tomatoes. They were great. My grand baby was there and they gave her ice cream. We get home and the burgers were awesome, onion rings were cooked just right. Thank you for great food. We moved here in 2020 and I wished I would have tried before. You have my business now. I appreciate all you did.

Some of the best burgers and milkshakes available anywhere! I had never eaten here until a couple of months ago and it has quickly become my favorite burger restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and the young ladies that are always working there are very polite. The price I feel is a tad high but for the quality of food that you get and knowing that you're supporting a local business makes it all worth it!
