Honestly a pretty good experience from start to finish renting a car here. It was very easy to get a car here. Simply walk out to the baggage claim area, follow signs to the rental car center, and then go to the car. If you have status with National as Executive or Executive Elite, choose any of the full-size cars in the executive aisles. Return is also super fast and efficient. Only thing I wish is that they had better selection of higher class cars available in the executive aisle. Many other airports of this caliber have nicer cars like Audi‘s, Alpha Romeos, and convertibles. Would be nice to get a few of those here!

I had an issue with being charged for a refueling service fee I did not agree to upon return of the rental with a full tank of gas. I went to the service desk and Antone resolved my issue quickly and provided great customer service!!

Beginning of the rental process was great! Returning the rental was horrible. No one to assist with return. Ended up being charged for 3 extra days plus fuel even though we returned the vehicle early. Called customer service twice to resolve the issue but got zero help. Worst rental experience ever! Not the norm for National. Definitely would chose another provider in Nashville.

I am a veteran trying to get to Florida for a reunion and national just completely ruined that trip. After 8 years of being a loyal customer, I have never experienced a worse customer service. After waiting for 45 minutes for a vehicle i was Denied my rental due to no credit card. Debit cards are only accepted with a airline ticket and I was punished for being from Nashville. Completely screwed up our entire trip. I was informed through customer service that I could rent from another location, but that’s the only location in Nashville. That makes perfect sense. Never renting from national again!

It's been four days and 10+ hours of trying to get answers and a resolution to a car rental. I've been bounced around multiple times between Customer Service, Roadside Assistance, and the Nashville Airport location. Each employee has given me a different response. It's evident that Roadside Assistance is subcontracted out. It's clear that Customer Service has a very limited scope of what they can resolve. And it's been uncomfortably apparent that the Nashville Airport location does not pick up the phone or respond to messages. Although I'm an Executive Elite member--and have been overwhelmingly pleased with past experiences with National Car Rental, I am posting publicly to prevent dangerous rental situations and get closure to rental agreement #850987398.

Chick Fil a…. Costco….., Discount Tire…,and National Car Rental. Rock solid service. Get in the car and go. No drama, no delays, no hassle. Predictable and pleasant experience always. I’d be willing to pay more for that yet National is priced at or below the competition. Definition of No Brainer.

If you sign up to be a member online (it’s free) you can just walk up to a car and the keys are in it and ready to go. Return is just as painless - pull up the car, leave it in the garage with the keys, and head into the airport. The Nissan Rogue I drove was very clean and new.

After being Emerald Executive (?) member for two years, I was finally excited to pick up a car from a location that has the isle to choose from. Except that when I arrived, it was mostly empty with just a half dozen of minivans there and nothing else. Well, also about a dozen other members scratching their had trying to figure out what's going on and one employee frantically taking peoples names down and promising that the cars are under way. Finally, after 15 minutes of chaos, the cars and trucks (and more minivans!) started to arrive and I was able to grab something that wasn't as much of a fuel hog. But since about three dozen people were jumping into their cars by that point, it created another chaos and another 10 minute wait at the exit booth. Great experience! Not...
