I can be to this location 20 minutes before it’s closing time and the doors were shut. They’re already closing earlier since COVID so why not stay open until you’re supposed to…

Fine if you're just running in and picking stuff up. Absolutely horrible pharmacy. Completely worthless for covid testing. The people working the drive thru are completely incompetent, slow, and unprofessional. Drive a little further and get better service elsewhere.

Please get rid of that racist Asian woman you hired not long ago. I live close by and go to this Walgreens all the time, never had that issue before, usually when I walk in, the Caucasian/ Latina lady greets me, ask me how I'm doing, is super nice, makes my shopping experience pleasant and I always buy something. Last Saturday (July 2nd, early evening), I walked in, saw that Asian woman, she stared at me, never greeted me, never came to ask if I needed assistance... then when I was getting ready to go check out, she walked off the cash registry and went into hiding. Every Black person who walked in the store while I was there, she never greeted or talked to. But then I saw a White girl walking out, and all of the sudden, I realized this woman had teeth and could talk & smile... SMH! Please teach this woman the importance of diversity and anti-discriminatory practices. You're doing yourself a disservice by putting a racist person in front of your store. This would make your sales go down, I guarantee you that!! When I saw her do that, I dropped everything I had in my hands that I was going to purchase and went to HEB instead. In 2022, ish like that is unacceptable!

I requested a refill on a prescription 8 days ago. I was told they would contact my doctor and refill the prescription. Sounds great right... a week later I call and am told, oh we’ve had that since Wednesday... no call, no email, just should have known. Pharmacy closes at 6 though, so you’ll have to come tomorrow. Tomorrow is Sunday, online shows hours till 6 PM, except they have changed their hours and now the pharmacy closes at 3 on Sundays.

turned us away because our son didn't have his covid card with him. well first they couldn't find his appointment for several minutes kept asking him his name again over and over like that was the issue, and as far as the card goes the website and email and the form clearly say IT IS NOT AN ISSUE IF YOU DONT HAVE IT! we had Identification and dates and all the info and had an appointment scheduled. they were rude and condescending, which is funny considering they don't know the basic guidelines to a service they are supposed to be providing. They kept referring to the pharmacist who didn't look like he knew either because he was telling them the wrong aswers as well pretty sad for a pharmacy. I wouldn't trust them.

I have a chronic illness/migraines and take several RX a month. The blond female pharmacist is rude and condescending and is holding one of my RX hostage! My new insurance wants prior authorization from my DR and my Dr told me she is short staffed and will not have time to do this as I have been taking this for over 10 years. I told the pharmacist I would self pay the RX as I had a migraine and needed it, it was $35 on Good RX. She REFUSED to fill the Rx and said Walgreens would LOSE TOO MUCH MONEY and i had to wait to pay my copay on my insurance, which was higher. Keep in mind the actual price of the drug was not even $200! I tried to get her to transfer the RX to HEB to fill but HEB could not get Walgreens to send it over. So now I have an RX being held hostage. She also refused to fill another RX because she thought the dosage was too high of my Topamax to prevent my migraines. Is she my doctor?? Is this legal?? I will be transferring all my RX to HEB. Run from this location.

Scheduled a vaccine booster. Note at the bottom of the email said it wouldn't be an issue if the vaccine card wasn't present. Even showed proof through the Curative website. Pharmacy tech said you have to have the card. Plan to get your booster elsewhere if you lost your vaccine card. Good luck to anyone trying to be safe. They don't care about you.

3👍👍Update Oct 30. We needed our covid booster shot. We were asked if we had an appointment. We said no. They said they could work us in. We had to wait for a little while. We got our shots. My thanks to the staff. Good customer service. It was appreciated. I have had very few issues with this location. The staff have been courteous and proffecianal to me. The pharmacy has been prompt and have called my doctor if they had questions about my prescribed medication. They answer any questions I have about my medicine. I also received my shingles and flu shots here. Months back the pharmacist assistants were not that great. They were young and had attitudes. I believe they have been replaced and I have had no issues recently. The one thing I don't like is the new layout. Lack of outside light and feels cramped to me. The entrance is not inviting at all. I liked the old store layout better. They should have focused on the store and put the clinic in another part of the store. I may switch to the Gattis School Road location if they do not put a clinic in.

This has been my pharmacy for over 5 years now and everything was fine until the new pharmacist came into the pharmacy and completely ruined it for me. At first this pharmacy was very friendly and I felt cared for until she came in and started making me feel uncared for and very rushed as if my health didn't matter to her. I completely find it disrespectful how some one that works in medicine can have no sympathy for a person with health issues. I would also like to add how rude she can be towards patients for simply asking questions over your own medicine or refills, for these reasons and the fact that its been happening for a very long time with no change or correction I will no longer be with Walgreens or sending my prescriptions.

I switched to this Walgreens because they were polite and efficient. However, within the last six months there seems to have been some sort of staffing change that has resulted in some really poor customer service. The technicians working at the window seem like they have received very limited training. They have difficulty pronouncing some medication names and just don’t seem like they are very confident in their knowledge of their job. On 6/14, I accompanied a friend to pick up a medication refill that she had called in 1 week ago and was told would be ready, but was not ready. The young man that spoke with her had very poor customer service. His voice was very monotone. He did not smile. He couldn’t tell my friend how or why the medication was not ordered. He didn’t seem to know how much medication he was filling since there was a discrepancy in the quantity on the prescription order and the quantity available in stock. Due to this discrepancy my friend was only sent home with a small amount of medication but was NOT warned about this. The young man just filled this limited quantity without communicating that this was all that was in stock and the fill was only partial. This resulted in A LOT of trouble for my friend due to how the insurance company processed the partial fill. This young man could have saved us a lot of trouble by communicating to us that there was a limited quantity in stock and letting us know that a partial fill might create difficulty with the insurance company. After 1.5 hours of talking with the insurance company and talking with two other Walgreens locations, my friend called back to speak with this young man and let him know that this ordeal was very frustrating and explained why. He didn’t seem to know what to say, just gave this long uncomfortable silence on the phone. My friend explained that she would have really appreciated more communication about the limited quantity of meds available and the consequence of a partial fill. He didn’t seem to know what to say. He did apologize but it just seemed like not only did he not really care to help, he didn’t have the knowledge base to help. Neither my friend nor I had any confidence in this young man’s ability to do his job. As I witnessed this experience my friend had, I thought about some things that could be improved. I think this young man needs to develop a better customer service “attitude” for lack of a better word. No more monotone, smile, be confident in what is being said. If this lack of customer service is prevalent among the techs (which it seems to be), maybe a revamped hiring protocol/training program is in order. Coming from a customer service job myself, I understand that providing good service is not an easy task. However, I think that if you want your customers to say good things about you and keep coming back, you should make some changes in how things are being done.
