I recently moved to Sedona, so I had my prescriptions transferred from the Walgreens in Flagstaff AZ. I wish I hadn't transferred them now. I arrived at the Sedona Walgreens to pick up my prescriptions on 9/12/22, a Monday at 10am. My prescriptions were transferred and supposed to have been ready on the Friday before as I received a text telling me they were ready, but when I got there on Monday they weren't. The lady at the drive up window assured me they would be ready at noon so I went back to work. When I returned at noon the same lady informed me my prescriptions weren't ready yet and they would be by 3pm. I went back to work and returned at 4:15 to the drive up line. I waited in line with three cars ahead of me and after almost 45 minutes they closed the curtain for the drive up line as I was pulling up. It wasn't 5pm yet, which is when they close. I went inside to tell them not only I but other people behind me were in line waiting almost just as long. They still refused to offer my any service and insisted they were closed and stopped operating at 5pm, despite the fact they were still servicing people in line inside the store. They functionally were not closed and after debating this with them they decided to look up prescription which should have been ready at 3pm and it still wasn't. The people employed at this pharmacy are clearly too inefficient and lack the knowledge to operate it to the standard of most modernized pharmacies, or just other Walgreens. It was clear they didn't want to help me if they could, but I caught them in a lie so they decided to, and even so they I still didn't get my prescriptions because of their incompetence. The staff there acts as if it's okay to give arbitrary incorrect answers to customers' questions. The pharmacist in charge there that day was completely cold and unhelpful. She told me they close at 5pm and "that's business." If I hadn't debated the legality of her still clearly being open and not giving me help like the other people in line she would have been happy with not helping me at all. Do not expect a good or friendly experience with this pharmacy. The staff is clearly not well trained. Walgreens should really consider closing this pharmacy if they can't operate with the same standard of quality as their other pharmacies. It's clear they've had these problems for a long time.

I had an appointment for over a week to get a Covid booster. I showed up early and had to wait forever to speak to the pharmacist who informed me that they are “understaffed” and cannot honor the appointment today. I am traveling out of town to a place that requires a booster and was relying on this appointment. I am incredibly frustrated and disappointed in the service I received today. However, I went to CVS and they were kind enough to provide me the booster I needed, with no appointment. From now on I will not be shopping at Walgreens. I will go to CVS for all my needs.

Terrible pharmacy hours. Only open 830 to 530 Monday to Friday, so if you work normal business hours FORGET about ever being able to refill your RX. I just transferred all of my RXs to Safeway Sedona who is open 7 days a week and evenings. So much better!

I just have to call out some amazing employees, Peyton, Ken and the rest of the team that helped me out. Thank you tremendously for your help and utter kindness. It’s rare to see nowadays so when I do it’s a blessing! They all went above and beyond to help me find my items and I couldn’t be happier. The little note Peyton left was so sweet and like I said, went absolutely above and beyond. So thank you again soooo much. I wish I could put into words more on how appreciative I am. <3 Keep up the hard work that you all do and keep being amazing.

I had a positive covid test and when my doctor tried to call in a prescription to the Sedona Walgreens, they found that the pharmacy was closed over the holiday weekend and would not be able to fill my prescription. They were closed 3 days. As you can imagine, this was a frightening situation. Fortunately I went to the Walgreens in Cottonwood. It was great that they were open, however, I had to drive 20 miles while sick to get the prescription filled.

After one positive experience with a PCR test for travel, I came back again only to be very disappointed. The website allowed me to book on a Sunday, but in reality the pharmacy is closed on Sunday. Lastly on the website they say that the results for PCR test are normally available within 24 to 48 hours, but after taking our PCR test, the pharmacist said to expect the results within 72 hours! This of course is completely unacceptable especially as some of us need to take international flights and have to plan accordingly.

Consistent poor service including missing medications, wrong medication, lack of communication, lack of empathy, lack of problem solving , lack of reconciliation processes. Medications are prescribed for essential health and these delays and poor service only compound the delays in care we already endure. I am a RN who knows how bad the entire healthcare system is, but when I encounter multiple and similar problems with this one particular pharmacy, there needs to be change. Medications are life saving, they are not widgets or candy that can wait!

This Walgreens is by far the best in the state, their customer service is top notch for having to deal with the amount of traffic Sedona gets. Everyone here deserves a gold star. 👍

When they tell you that you "can't have" orange tag clearance items because they are "holding them for another customer." I sincerely thought it would be the first customer to pay for them gets them like every other Walgreens on Earth.

No customer service once so ever. I don’t recommend this Walgreens even if your visiting Sedona !!! I went in to get something and the price was inflated three times the online price when I questioned the price with Joan she acted like she didn’t want to be bothered so I requested management. Ken was no better he explained to me that they dont match the online prices I said ok well can I do pick up he says it will still be almost two hrs until I get the item so I may as well put back the ones I have. I left the item there went in my car and paid for the item! The order was ready in minutes!! Next is Janet I tell her I’m here for a pick up order she starts rambling about what type of order I tell her online while she’s still on the floor she starts rambling about how people come to her and dont know what type of pick up they have. I look at my item and it’s nothing like what was online which is not her fault but these people are crazy!! All I needed was a simple solution to get my item and I sent encountered a bunch of mess!!! Never again! Horrible prices horrible service!
