This place is awesome and Travis is top notch! I'm new to AZ and finding such a honest and respectable mechanic is a gem. I brought my car in because my window wasn't working. Initially the cost to replace the motor and regulator was expensive, but Travis called me in the morning and gave me great news that one of the parts they thought I needed was fine, so that saved me a lot of money. He could have just replaced it and charged me, but he was super honest and I truly appreciate that and I plan on going to the car shop for all my car issues. My car is a 2004, so I'm sure I'll run into more problems with my car. Service: Electrical

Travis was extremely honest and knowledge. Dealership was wanting to charge me over $1,600 for 30k maintenance and told me that if I didn’t do the maintenance my car would no longer be under warranty. Travis researched exactly what service needed to be done. Turns out all I needed was an oil change. This is now my go to mechanic.

Definitely recommend this place to anyone in tempe!! They're very sweet and honest people. I came in for a repair as a walk in and they were able to accommodate me right away. They physically showed me so i can see for myself that my cars repairs were more extensive and didnt push or pressure me towards services that weren't needed,but they showed me exactly what was damaged and went over the risks of driving it as is. This place is wonderful! We are traveling in our van and needed a piece for our alternator. They let us ship the piece to their store and they installed it very quickly. These guys are so awesome! I highly recommend them!

Cannot rave enough about The Car Shop, I brought in my Camaro last year for some service and was so impressed by the exceptional customer service I recieved from both Travis and Paul. I knew I needed to have my rear tail light replaced almost a year later I finally had the part and when I called to have it installed they remembered who I was and scheduled for the installation. Again, great customer service. I will most definitely return for any future services needed and recommend them to friends and family. The shop is literally down the street from my work so that is an added Bonus!!

I needed to have the fuel pump replaced & also the left rear signal light. I had a dealer check out the gas smell that came from my car before Christmas & they "couldn't find anything". The Car Shop showed me pictures of the fuel pump that was leaking badly. The car is fine now & running perfectly. They did a great job!

I brought my Matrix here with a few problems and for a second opinion after I felt uncomfortable with another shop's work, and they made me feel confident in their work. Travis at the front was very helpful and thorough in explaining what was going on every step of the way. The service was quick, and Jeff the mechanic brought me out to show me exactly what was wrong and what needed repairs. The prices are fair, and they do not try to upsell with things a car does not need. I cannot recommend this place enough
