I had a bad experience at this dealership last week which cost me unwanted stress, loss of time, money and energy. I sold my Audi A5 to the person responsible for sales ( Denise Garcia) who was nice when she was trying to purchase the car, but her attitude completely changed, without a reason, the moment I decided to sell the car. The main issue was the delay to receive my check; I sold the car 7/13/22, but didn’t receive the check until 7/18/22. Denise was unprofessional about the day/time that I would get my FedEx check, she said at first it would arrive the next day, then changed that to the following day, then never responded to my calls after that until the beginning of the following week. When we spoke on the phone she didn’t say sorry for the delay, or show any feeling for her mistake, instead she was rude and hung up on me. My advice is to find another place to sell your car. I have lost money and missed purchasing another car because of this unclear evasive communication. Toyota shouldn’t be your first option.

I was here to just sell my car, and the dealership honored the Kelly Blue Book Instant Cash Offer quote I received online. This dealership was one of the interested ones to want to buy my car. I was sceptical at first because other dealerships were low-balling me even as I produce the online quote print out, and I was at the point where I thought no dealerships would honor the Instant Cash Offer quote as I thought it was only a tool used to lure customers in. But Kearney Mesa Toyota changed that. They inspected my car to compare with the online quote, and they gave me the exact amount per the quote. It took a couple of days to receive the check as I still have a loan on it. Thank you Maria and Kearney Mesa Toyota!

I've only got great things to say about Kearny Mesa Toyota. We leased our car back in 2019 and it was a fantastic experience then. Fast forward to now when we went in to purchase said leased car and again, the service was wonderful. We started off being helped by Eric who was efficient in helping answer all our questions and providing all the information we were looking for. We then went to finance where we were helped by Paul. I immediately recognized him from when we leased our car as he helped us then too. This guy is the best! No one likes finance talk, paperwork, etc. It is generally boring, takes a lot of time and you just want to get out of there. With Paul, that is not the case. You don't even notice the time pass by as he is so personable and friendly. Same thing as Eric, he helps answer all your questions and is super efficient. At the same time he is cracking jokes and making conversation that makes the whole experience just go quickly and smoothly. We love Kearny Mesa Toyota and plan to stick with them for all future cars as well. The place overall is awesome. You don't get that car dealership vibe of people pressuring you into something you don't want. They are so respectful, friendly and attentive. Definitely 5 stars!

My guy Eric McCartney was the best. Completely professional, honest, and nicest guy ive ever worked with getting my Tundra. Ive been to a lot of dealers looking for a vehicle and Eric made it not only easy but fun. If anyone wants a vehicle see Eric. He needs a raise and a promotion. On May 12th I sold my car to this dealer. the manager promised to pay the loan to the bank within 3 days. And send me the rest of the difference by check within a week. I missed the payment because I thought the payoff had already been sent. As a result, the bank received payoff only on May 25, but I still have not received my check. I tried to contact the manager via email, but there is no answer for more than a week. I highly recommend not selling your car to this dealer.

I would not give any stars. I am really disappointed at this Toyota dealership about their customer service. The Toyota is I truly believe on of the best quality cars in the world. I bought a car from this dealership just recently (April )but the their customer service and salesman(Rich)is always delayed and Mostly I am the one have to contact them first but they Always behind me all the time. This is very frustrating the customer. I can’t believe the other customer reviews are five stars? This time I bought a second car from here but their customer service is worse because they are always leave me behind. Now I have to deal the thier service and have to always negotiate with them. All they need to make customer happy. Add: I stopped by car dealership today again to see the MGR Will M.but I had to wait more than an hour and they always keep me behind. Nobody noticed me just kept chatting until I come up to the front desk after one hour. They totally forgot about me. The front desk woman was just doing nothing. This is very disrespectful woman customer. So disappointed. Anyway I finally talked with the MGR named Will. He doesn’t treat woman customer like me with respect. Didn’t even say sorry to kept me waiting long time. They are luck of most important communication skills with customer. Most likely they don’t take this review seriously sadly. After they sold the car to me, don’t care about your customer.

Saying that I’m extremely satisfied with the process of purchasing my vehicle at Kearny Mesa Toyota is an understatement. The process was easy and straightforward. Their customer service and phone calls I received throughout this process were adequate and friendly, not rushed or time consuming. In addition to their outstanding service, their trade-in process was the most accurate and fair process I had ever experienced. They provided a good and fair price for my trade-in (better than most other dealerships I previously visited). I probably wouldn’t return to any other dealership to buy a car based on my great experience with them.

I’ve been here twice now and the visit is always positive and professional. I’ve worked with 2 advisors so far and both have been very helpful and communicative through the process of getting your vehicle maintained. From the drive up, to the talks of what your vehicle needs done, and to the waiting room. Everything has been great really. The communication is very punctual and clear when it comes to the maintenance department. They’ll text you a link upon checking in and with this link, you’re able to check on the status of your vehicle. Upon completion of inspection, if there’s anything else that needs to be done to your vehicle, they will communicate with you first to get permission on whether or not you want to get it done. And when the work is complete, they email you a copy of the documents and work done on your vehicle. I’ve heard of a lot of people who complain about bringing their vehicles to the actual dealerships for maintenance when it comes to “prices” and out the door cost. Honestly, long story short, if you want the work done right with less visits and problems to your vehicle, coming here is never a wrong decision. Obviously, be prepared and just make sure you have enough in your wallet before planning on coming here. Lastly, make sure you download the Toyota app so that way you have digital copies (History) of maintenance completed on your vehicle so that it’s easier to track what’s been completed and what needs to get done on your next visit.
