My wife and I really like this BJs. We belonged to the Sam's on 19 and gulf to bay years ago and it was always a zoo in there, felt like I was going to have a panic attack. BJs is much more chill, no one mowing you down with their cart, no crazy checkout lines, selection is smaller but prices are comparable. BJs also has smaller pack sizes so you are not taking up so much of your pantry or freezer space at home. Deli meats are delicious. Saw some reviews combining about the service but I'm in year 2 of my membership and I haven't had any issues. Gas is usually 15 to 20 cents cheaper than the wawa down the road. Overall I'm very happy. Helpful tip: can use your membership at the Waters Ave location in Tampa and they have amazing deals on tires every now and them, sale plus manufacturer Instant rebates.

Place is great with good deals if you wanna buy more in bulk, with a big family it comes in handy. There fuel perks are incredible with gas so high it comes in handy

My first visit was a good one. Some of the prices a lot higher then Sam's. I didn't see any electri shopping carts for disposable customers. Not sure if I will be shopping there much.

Honesty not much cheaper than Walmart when you account for food waste, only selling name brands and the fuel is usually 10 cents cheaper. I on average wait 5 minutes to get fuel and the pumps cut off at $100. I feel so rushed due to the wait that leave with 3/4 thank and save about $1 every time my fiance goes she says this is the last time I'll ever go there I kind of feel the same way!

If you ever have the opportunity to visit the BJ's Wholesale Club in Clearwater, Fl you must visit the Returns counter. There I hope you meet a disgusting blob of human flesh named Barbara G. Here you will witness first-hand what the end result is when employers can't find enough qualified help. I truly feel this person has a severe emotional/psychiatric problem and should not be allowed to represent BJ's. Customer Service Representatives like this should be locked in a back office and not be allowed in public unless on a leash and accompanied by an adult. I am so glad I had the foresight to use a '1-day' BJ's pass first before purchasing an annual membership. My entire purchase experience at BJ's, from beginning to end, was about as unpleasant and aggravating as possible and I wouldn't accept a membership even if offered for free. (As a sidenote, and I could be wrong, but I don't recall seeing any Handicapped parking spaces on my visit). Like you, when I read reviews I take them with a grain of salt, as I know opinions are like 'elbows'. Just remember, I tried to warn you.

I really like BJs over Sams and Costco. I get to buy in bulk but it’s more manageable sizes, they have great pricing on gas and plenty of opportunities to earn 10 cents and more off per gallon, accept regular coupons and provide many coupons as well. The staff is friendly and the store is kept clean.

2/16/22. Love the deals. But some of the workers are not nice here. I was looking at creamer in the case, worker walks right in front of me no excuse me no nothing... I said I guess I'm not standing here and still nothing then he get his heavy cream out of the case and walks back to his sample cart like it was nothing. I told him he was rude. He acted like he didn't hear me. Then looking for a case of ginger ale for my daughter walked up and down the beverage aisles for 10 mins, didn't see it at all. Found a worker asked if he knew where I could find this (showed him the picture from my app) he said it should be over there. Told I walked around for 10 mins. He shrugged his shoulders turned around and walked away with his hand truck..... And I pay for this???? I don't think I will be renewing. Costco seems like a better option

Its an OK place, bright and clean, but it should have added a food court, and be known for something like Cosco did with having great hotdogs, Sams club has great pizza slices. It would also be nice if they did Fried Chicken. Whats up with having only rotisserie chicken when fried chicken is so much better.

I wish this place would buy the old Kmart on 66th Street in Kenneth City, it would do wonderful at this location. I hate driving so far to the Clearwater one.. It would make a great location. I just love this place, just as nice as Costco but half the membership cost. They have everything for your family, great selection all the time.
