HOW is this store still open. Again I go in to buy a simple drink only to find that it is expired. Happens regularly. Store is never stocked and looks like it had just been looted. Please replace with Walgreens.

Some of the staff is very rude. They brush you off and speak in a condescending tone. Very dismissive attitude, not pleasant to shop.I’ve been a customer there for over 3 years but definitely will not return.

Pretty awful customer service, especially the pharmacy department. The front of the store employees are generally fairly helpful, but avoid the pharmacy at all costs. Rude to customers and in multiple occasions I’ve been treated disrespectfully by the pharmacists almost as if I was crazy for merely asking a question or expecting someone behind the counter would show me the courtesy of acknowledging my existence let alone helping me at some point in the first 10 minutes of standing there with no one else even around. What gives Southport CVS pharmacy?

I went to pharmacy, the African lady was very rude, disrespect and mumbled her insults. She through the receipt and gave an attitude. She gets paid too well to act like this. Go home and stay home rude lady.

I feel obliged to write a review because I’ve been coming here for years at least once a week. Most of the staff is great, friendly and have been there a while. Everyone is doing their best. Not a fan of the new self-checkout machines, but that’s the way of the world now. I guess they’re fine if all your items will fit on a one foot by one foot square. Otherwise, I’m there a lot and haven’t had many issues so keep up the solid work, team.

I've never felt compelled to write a google review for a CVS before. I'm frequently in the area and this is place is convenient so I often find myself picking up something here. My main gripe is the panhandlers. No idea why but there are ALWAYS really aggressive panhandlers outside of this store. There have been a two times when I was walking into this store and had a guy physically block me from entering. I was told by the manager that there isn't much they can do. Legally, a panhandler/solicitor can hang out on the side walk. If they happen to walk onto CVS's property for even just a moment to stop you....there's not much they can do. The staff are nice, love the staff. Everything is very expensive but you're also in wrigleyville...it is what it is. It's your standard CVS, not much to say. I think I'd feel more comfortable just going to jewel osco across the street from now on.

I didn't buy anything but I was able to. Drop off my old expired medicine in their Drop off box. It looks like a mailbox but I took a picture of it. Last time I was here they didn't have the medicine drop box yet. Now they have it, I take pictures of certain Vitiamins that were on sale or not in stock. So, I know which store has it or not. That's it. Then I walked across the street to Jewels-Osco Grocery Store to buy only 2 things.

I went into the store today (10/22/2020) at 9:25 am and I wanted to return something I bought only like 20 minutes prior. I purchased the wrong size of something. I went up to the checkout and this lady said I needed an ID so I can get money back. I paid with cash and I’m only 15 so I don’t have an ID. I’ve never needed an ID to return something once in my life. She kept pointing at me and saying I needed an ID and I won’t be getting my money back. I’ve gone to this store for years and I keep seeing employees being rude, but this employee especially.

They kicked my friends and I out for browsing the aisle. I wasn’t there for more then 5 min and then he told me to get out or buy something. I have never been to a store that is that rude. In general cvs has had great customer service. I would recommend going to a different cvs if you can.

So... it's a CVS. What's to tell? But, I have been going to his one long enough that the staff mostly knows me, and they're all very nice. Getting a prescription filled here takes a weirdly long time - like, an hour when the store is empty. Tip from a local: save yourself a bunch of dough and get your Cubs souvenirs here. ;)
