Explored this Walgreens while visiting Chicago. It's actually a two story store and even had some groceries downstairs. Recomended :)

Good place to visit for lunch, they make sushi, sandwiches, and salads on site. You can also get anything else you'd get at a regular walgreens, this is the biggest one I've been to in the city.

Good staff in pharmacy section. I had some techincal issues in registering my account to walgreens for an appointment in pharmacy. The other Walgreens in the area were not giving clear answers for to walk in appointment and deflecting but this particular branch was cooperative and figured out a resolution.

Almost everything is locked up at this location. It's interesting that the premium brand skin care products such as N0.7 and Vanicream are readily available but lower brand products such as Vaseline are locked up and held hostage at the register until you complete your shopping.

This is my go to Walgreens when I am in the Downtown area. It has two floors with plenty of stacked merchandise. The service lines always move very quickly, nice cashiers, and the store has a very clean pristine look every time I shop in the store. My favorite part of this particular Walgreen is there Speciality items. In here you can buy fresh baked goods, Sushi, Sandwiches and Salads. I just love their Speciality Items, the desserts are delicious, but the salads made by the people of Freshii are the bests!!! Go here all the time to this location and will continue to go just for the salads alone.

The pharmacy staff and services are wonderful. But the manager who works in the evening is rude on the first floor. She left me standing in line without saying a word. I was rushing and trying to catch my train. She could have acknowledged me. I have been shopping at Walgreens since I was a child. The staff on the first floor talk and ring up customers at the same time. This is why the lines are long. Someone needs to address this behavior. We spend a lot of money at Walgreens.

This is one of my favorite downtown Walgreens. The location is easy to find, just a few feet away from the Chicago Theatre on State/ Lake Street . The store has 2 floors but I usually shop on the 1st floor for healthy snacks & entrees , smoothies, sandwiches , lite grocery, photo shop and a impressive craft beer , wine and cheese selection. A well stocked & variety store for ones shopping needs. The staff is ample, friendly, helpful and efficient. The pricing is reasonable. The store has good lighting ,clean , neat with a functional layout .👌

I really liked this Walgreens. They have a focus on healthy food and a variety of snacks rather than cleaning supplies, cheap kids toys, and all the other random "stuff" that fill so many other Walgreens. The store itself was clean, bright, and filled with natural light due to the big windows on two sides. It was busy while I was there, with a constant line to the check-outs. However, that line was always moving right along. They were also smart about the registers and lines. Rather than having people waiting in separate lines for each register, they had one line and just called the next person to the next open register. So I only had to wait 2-3 minutes to check out, despite the line being eight or ten deep, and the cashier was extremely friendly and helpful. Best of all, they had my favorite giant malted milk balls! I got the last bag - those things disappear fast!
