We recently moved from Chicago to Wisconsin. Bradtke movers was recommended to us by a neighbor. They were fabulous, reasonably priced, careful, respectful & professional. I'd highly recommend them.

Scratched up bottom of hutch. Supplied photos which showed brand new scratches (raw, clean wood showing) and a large water mark which was not there prior to move. Their response was their employees denied they were responsible (surprise) and the damage was there prior. Nothing like doing business with folks who cover up with lies. Other minor issues which simply proved the poor quality of service by these folks. Would strongly advise finding another mover.

I had the worst moving day ever imagined; another company I had hired months prior showed up on move in day LATE and then told me they couldn't move my stuff because they had rookies on the team and I had a piano. I had to move boxes and smaller furniture items and scramble to find a company that would move my bigger items asap as I was already cutting it close to the date I had to be out. I found J Bradtke through my father and they were able to schedule an emergency move in a few days. I wish I could remember the men on the team because they were so incredible. They were smiling the whole time and so efficient! When faced with a difficult narrow staircase at the new place, they never once complained, they tackled it with professionalism and again, big smiles on their faces. They also made sure to wrap my furniture (some of which were antiques from my grandmother) with care. I cant say thank you enough! I was nearly in tears after the move because I was so grateful for them! Thank you thank you again and again! I will be sure to use this company again in the future and also recommend them to anyone else I know who is in need of movers.

Chris was very easy to deal with over the phone, from providing an estimate to coordinating and scheduling our house move. He was extremely polite and followed up to confirm dates, as well as being accommodative and was prepared to be flexible with times to work with our schedule. Felipe and his moving team were amazing! They were super professional and extremely courteous. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they packed all our belongings very securely and labeled everything to make it easy to unpack. We have used a number of different moving companies over the years, but these guys are in a class of their own. In an industry where companies are known to be misleading and exploitive, this local family owned company employs very trustworthy, and honest hard workers. The best in the business. Everything with my local Evanston move by Bradtke was perfect. First, Chris in scheduling was very polite and explained everything perfectly. Second, the crew (Leo, Augusto, Felipe, and Jose) were great. They showed up at 8:30, exactly on time! They shrink wrapped my furniture quickly and handled all my furniture exactly as I wanted. They showed great care with my piano, both in preparing it to move and also in unwrapping it and placing it exactly right in my new home. They protected my floors and were so efficient that my move took less time than I had expected based on previous moves. And finally, their rates are reasonable. This company is not just for antiques! I've had some bad experiences with moving companies. This time a friend referred me to Bradtke and I'm so glad she did. Thank you to Chris and my crew. You guys are the best! J. Bradtke Movers isn't just for antiques - they moved me out of an apartment last year and I couldn't be happier with their service.
