Ken is nice enough, but neither he nor his assistants wear masks, and the cashier only puts one up when he comes up to the register. Nobody on staff wore them while walking about the store, assisting customers, or preparing medications. COVID rates are still steadily on the rise and as a person providing medications to ill folks, I can't understand why they aren't paying attention to and respecting science and state and local mandates. Very disappointing, I'm taking my prescriptions elsewhere

They recently changed their name from The Medicine Shoppe to Ken's Sunflower Pharmacy. I was thrilled to find a locally owned pharmacy in my neighborhood and love supporting them over the other pharmacy giants. They are all so friendly and can quickly fill a prescription. Ken is on a first name basis with nearly everyone and chats with you while you wait. I bring my 2yo with me to pickup and they don't mind if he wanders around the store. I'd highly recommend this pharmacy for their unmatched customer service!

Ken, Megan, Trent, Bea, Margaret, Melanie and Nancy are the kindest most hard working group you could ever put in one place! At this great Pharmacy it’s like the old days the only thing missing is the soda fountain! You don’t wait hours and sometimes days here at Ken’s Pharmacy if you’re not feeling well and want to get your scripts and go home you’ll be in and out in less than 10 minutes!! This is no joke and Ken is very knowledgeable and will answer any questions you may have! I used to use Walgreens, CVS and HyVee pharmacies however with my scripts all of the people who read my scripts look at me like I’m a criminal but there is NO JUDGMENT or funny looks they fill your script with a smile! Everyone there makes you feel like you’re at home! It’s a very pleasant feeling going to see my friends at Ken’s Sunflower Pharmacy! If you try it once you’re hooked for life the service from all of the folks there will keep you coming back for all of your prescriptions! If you call you talk DIRECTLY with a person and a lot of the time Ken answers directly you don’t have to listen to a recording and push buttons to talk with a human! Best pharmacy in Kansas City hands down!!!! Thank you Ken, Megan, Bea, Margaret, Trent, Melanie, and Nancy!!!!! You all brighten my day every time I go and see you all!!!!!!!
