21 Best cell phone store in Phoenix, Arizona (AZ) 2024

This rent a center location is the best one!! The people that work there are great and amazing! They call and check up after delivery. They ask how the set up is. I’ve rented at 5 or so rent a centers and by far this is the best service I’ve ever received from rent a center! I believe his name was Brian that set up our bed frame and he was super great! He even swept up after setting up the bed! ~Tyler

Hugo provided excellent service beyond expectations with great positive attitude. He is fully qualified and very knowledgeable with all products and services. It was the best customer service experience I've had. Real Kudos to Hugo. He's one of the reason why I still keep AT&T. He got me the accessories I needed which I don’t usually get from AT&T . We went in with my mom to try and fix her phone and Thomas was with us immediately and went so above and beyond to try and help us we can’t say enough about him. He was very knowledgeable, personable and even stayed late to try and help us (and wasn’t out to try and sell us anything). He was on the phone with technical support for nearly 2 hours and even though they couldn’t solve the problem, we were impressed by his (and the tech support person’s) commitment to customer service and his great attitude. ~James

Love how the store is merchandised and themed so that items are easy to find. I always get greeted coming in. The manager Miles has a vast knowledge of multiple systems and games. Need a Funco Pop ? They have a huge selection and also have GS exclusive Pops ! ~Jay

What wonderfully kind and helpful employees, I wish I would've gotten their names. But to the guy and girl working Tuesday evenings, thank you so very much for your patience and caring as much as i do about helping people. I had the greatest experience with Kim she was fantastic! She helped me upgrade my phone with ease and was very kind and patient. I’ve been coming here for years and I just love the great customer service these consultants provide. If you ever want the best just ask for kim she’s the greatest! ~Riane

Long wait times, no order on sequence as we saw they bump random new people to the front of the line based on some internal criteria, mainly noticed advanced age and race was a factor but who knows. I would seriously avoid this place if possible, use another store. Best of luck on your phones! Thanks for checking my review. ~Tony

*Update 6/01/2022 * Even though i had a bad experience the first time i had my phone shipped there being it was the closest to my house. I figured im just picking up a phone how could it go wrong? Ha was i wrong... I was expecting my phone today and recieved a text notification saying my phone was ready to be picked up. After a long wait I showed LUIS (the employee i dealt with this time) the text He tells me its "nope i don't have it here. Ups delivers tomorrow so you can try back then". I left the store and a cpl mins later he locks the door to close. This was at 7:40-7:45pm, 15 mins before they actually closed too. I flagged him down to open the door so i could show him my tracking and question him why would it say it was delivered to that location @ a certain time and signed for by a certain person and it not be here? He tells me again " nope your phones not here and i dont know who the person who signef for it is". He said this with a smart a** attitude and a smirk on his face! I could go on and more details about the RIDICULOUS service at this location but was trying to make this short. I will definitely be emailing the store as requested and i have already called in and made my complaint which ive been assured will be dealt with. I hope it is. Horrible service at this location. I was waiting for help and was next in line when a couple who came in after me went right to the guy (Jose) who came from the back and started helping them. I told him i was actually next but wasnt even acknowledged. No greeting or hum idk maybe " oh im sorry i was helping them and ill be right with you" would of been nice. When he was done with them and called me it was even worse. I explained to him my problem and he says "nope sorry i cant help you". I was on the phone with customer care since before getting to the store and was pretty frustrated so i just walked out. On my way out i told a couple who was going into the store " good luck there absolutely no help and horrible service"... I was mad lol... Anyways a few mins later i was still sitting in my car when the same couple came out saying " you were totally right they are useless". The employees need to be retrained or i suggest replaced ASAP. I went to another location right after and had a excellent experience there. I wouldn't waste my time trying this location -1 * in my opinion. ~Keisha

This location is terrible based off my interaction with MANAGEMENT. I went into pick up my phone and the assistant manager "Jesus" was clueless as to tmobile's policy for picking up a phone in store. He provided me with a poor attitude explaining how I was incorrect about the process and did not pull up my account or even attempt to assist. If you can avoid this store please do as their service is terrible! ~joshua

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. In fact there was NO customer service . Mobile "expert" never even looked at my phone. He handed me a pamphlet and told me to go home and file a claim. I dropped my phone in water and microphone was damaged. "D" the representative couldn't be bothered with me. I went back today to address the problem. "D" said he was sorry but not going on his knees for forgiveness.???????? Spoke with supervisor and he was smooth. Too late. Never going back. I need to add I promptly went to another store where my Problem was very nicely solved in a professional manner. I'm a nurse and need my phone for patients. Do yourself a favor and drive a little further to 32 st and Thomas ~Christine
