8 Best self storage facility in Austin, Texas (TX) 2024

Jeremy was so helpful and took the time to show me several units before I made my decision! The facilities are very nice, freshly painted, climate controlled, and clean. I’m excited to have a storage unit here! Can’t wait to free up my apartment!! Highly recommend. ~Claire

The office staff is nice and friendly. As soon as I reserved a unit, I received a call confirming my reservation and was given information, I would need to make the process easier. At move-out, they were also nice and accommodating. ~Matthew

Went to rent a parking spot for my boat. Was given a spot that was along the side of a hill that was not suited for anything to be parked on safely. Requested an immediate refund and have yet to receive anything. ~Logan

The lady who helped me…Avalon, super cool, , you don’t just find people like that, not anywhere, you should do whatever you can to keep her around. Clean facility, could use electrical upgrades, luckily I’m an electrician, but I’m sure you have one already. Anyway, happy overall ~Sam

I usually never write reviews, but my experience with Extra Space on McNeil has been so positive that I wanted to comment. It's clean and safe and well-maintained. But more importantly, the customer service has been amazing. Matt has gone out of his way to check in every time he sees us. He is so kind and helpful--real Texas hospitality. I have had a fantastic experience here so far. I checked out about 6 different storage facilities across several companies, but the Extra Space Storage sites were always the most appealing. This location as well is fantastic and the place and units are meticulously cleaned and well taken care of. Holly was immensely helpful in helping me get settled in and asking all of my questions. She eased my mind with any concern I had and was very helpful and informative. I have had nothing but positive experiences here so far. ~Erik
