I reserved a small unit online, and arrived only to find “we only rent it for wine storage.” I only had books, so I was confused why I couldn’t store my stuff if 1. It fit the space and 2. It wasn’t any prohibited items. The website mentioned nothing about it being “for wine only”. In fact the visual showed a box, a lamp, some other random stuff. I felt like they were trying to talk me into renting a bigger unit - why else the runaround? Or maybe they didn’t make money off it so were trying to save it for someone who didn’t get the cheaper online rate? So I asked them to cancel the reservation and left; ended up going with a unit with Public Storage instead. It left a super bad taste in my mouth and I’m done with Extra Space as a brand.

Extra Space Storage has been a game-changer while figuring out the transitions of life. Moving to a downtown highrise meant that a lot of quality furniture and keepsakes no longer had a spot within my everyday living rooms. But those things are easily accessible and stored in a very clean, dry, low-humidity environment at the Extra Space facility on Capital of Texas Hwy. The people in the office are always helpful, available and knowledgeable. It's been several years of a great experience. They have my full trust and confidence.

This storage unit has been a AMAZING! From the beautiful look of the exterior to the clean interior. Most importantly it’s the people. I’ve been the event marketing industry for over a decade and managed storage units all over the country. I know how important it is to have a great storage unit. Storage Management and employees can either make your life easier or harder. I’ve dealt with some great ones and of course some bad apples. This storage unit is on the top of my list and I have already recommended to friends that also work in my industry From the first conversation Victor has been so helpful and nice. He’s very responsive to phone calls, voicemails and emails. Just met his counterpart and he was great as well!! Please keep them around And if you’re looking for a unit.. this is it!!
