8 Best shoe store in Austin, Texas (TX) 2024

I had a great experience with Customer Service during the holiday season. The employees were courteous and efficient. There were many customers in line, so they easily could have been testy. I appreciated the good service. ~Heather

All the staff here were so nice and helpful. And even tho they work on commission, NOT one of them was pushy. That is a sign of good management. Frank, Maria, Patrick and EVERYONE i spoke to on the first floor were outstanding. Even the folks at the Nordtrom Coffeebar were great. Next time i will see if the second floor folks (and cafe) are up the the same standards 🤔😏 ~Instagram

I'm new to Austin and this was my first time visiting a Fleet Feet store. I was in search of a professional running store with a great selection of custom fit shoes that are not found at general shoe stores. I’m glad that I found it! I was blown away at the “Fit ID” scanning technology and how those instant results helped me find the perfect running shoe. The store associate was very helpful and patient as I tried many pairs to find the right fit. He even gave me some great tips on the perfect running trails around Austin. I’ve already gone on a run in my new shoes and they're incredibly comfortable. I will definitely be back to Fleet Feet in the future! ~Gus

I tried 4 other places to get my traditional black and white slip on Vans, and no one had my size. The Vans store had my size in 3 cushion options. Cool staff and music, good experience. ~Michael

The customer service in this place is terrible. I’ve had a number of bad experiences here, but this last one takes the cake. I was trying to find a dress that was on a mannequin, but was told there weren’t anymore. I asked for the one off the mannequin and the sales associate told me no, she was too busy and they were understaffed. So I go to take it off myself and another young lady comes up to tell me I can’t take the dress off myself. Great, then could you please take the dress off. No, they’re too busy and they can’t. Fine, I will do it myself. No company policy says you can’t do it yourself. You can come follow me to talk to my manager. No you can ask your manager to come up here and explain why you won’t sell me this dress. My manager is too busy. Now the first girl comes back, so TWO sales associates spend 15 minutes explaining why they can’t take two minutes to take a dress off a mannequin. She continued to say company policy, company policy, company policy. I’m pretty sure your company is in the business of selling clothes. Mind you at this moment the first girl who told me she couldn’t help me is standing at the door doing nothing, except telling people they can’t come into the store. Visited Tiny's Western Shop today and I was amazed at the amount of western wear they have in such a small place. Gloria was awesome and guided me through the process of buying the right hat and boots. She taught me a lot about how the hats are rated, and she has them all. She fitted mine and now I feel like Rip Wheeler from Yellowstone. Now, I'm ready for the George Strait concert. Thanks Gloria, you're the best!!! ~Howard
