It’s only a 1 because of service, actually I’d have had to receive some in order to call it service. I was next in line at the pharmacy and I’m waiting. The pharmacist helps the car at the window then rolls down the shade. The lady at the counter finishes with the gentleman in front of me. I step forward and the pharmacist rudely stated they were closed, come back after 2:00. While turning her back on me and walking away. The poor young lady at the counter looked like she was shocked. I get they need their lunch break, but when someone is in line, you at least tell them so they don’t stand there on a bum leg then tell them you’re closed. Put a sign up and say I’m sorry but after this person we’re closed. It was the sheer rudeness of the pharmacist that infuriated me so much. If I could switch my medications elsewhere, I would. Plus I’m going to cancel my CVS plus, I’m tired of being treated like I don’t matter by the likes of rude and uncaring people.

Trevor made my day! He took a step forward to help me get my prescription. There was misunderstanding with the insurance, they had my birthday wrong, and I couldn't get my medicine. Trevor helped me a lot!

I set up an appointment to get tested for Covid and end up taking more than a day and a half so far it’s going to be too late to get the Pfizer pill if I do have Covid they’ve always been slow out of town it’s crazy they don’t have a better set up for testing to get quicker results

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! IN BASTROP TX, store #1037 I was in the drive thru line tonight at4:48 pm. There was a truck parked at the window with the motor off. As soon as the truck was done right at 5:00 pm I pulled up to window. The gate was already closed. I drove around parked and walked in at 5:02 pm and the pharmacy techs were walking out. I asked them if they just closed that quick they said yes sorry. The inside gate was closed already as well. While I looked for the store manager, my wife was in the car waiting for me and the two techs walked out and were gigling saying rules are rules we don't make them. The pharmacist was close behind them. My wife told them that's not very funny. They looked surprised and walked off to their cars. Maybe you should leave the inside open for 30 minutes once you slam the gate in someone's face at the drive thru. I know staffing shortages can be an issue, but if you don't answer your phone as I have been on hold for over 30 minutes before I finally hung up the phone you need to figure out how to service your customers.

CVS Bastrop has the worse customer service, if you go to window outside be ready for a 30 to 45 min. wait if you call I have trying 2 times and on hold forever, they do not answer the phone. Do not recommend this place and I will be moving all my medication.

I could have had a heart attack or stroke because the Bastrop CVS pharmacy would NOT fill my medication, stating that I had already picked it up a few weeks back and could get more. I notified them that their records were wrong but the woman on the phone did not care. She said she would have the pharmacist called me whenever they had time. They never called in the mean time this happened with another medication I needed, they sent me a text saying I can't get it until April because it was too soon. They last time I filled it for 90 days was last September 2021. Long story short I ended up hospitalized for a life threatening exacerbation because I could not get my medicine. I called my insurance to notify them, they tried to call to straighten out the problem but the pharmacy would not answer the phone. I called CVS corporate offices, twice, they said they were "sorry for my inconvenience" I told her it was NOT about convenience, it was a life or death situation and I was in the hospital because they would not give me my medicine. She said the district manager would call me but he did never called. I told everyone at the hospital what CVS pharmacy did to me and there didn't seem to be anything I could do to correct the problem. I called CVS the day before I was to be released, someone actually answered the phone. The pharmacist said unapologetically it was a computer glitch and was finally corrected and my scripts were filled. I still can't believe the ineptitude of this pharmacy. If you value your life and health, DON'T GO TO CVS PHARMACY!!

My mom is 83yrs old blind & an on Medicare. CVS said, that Medicare would not cover the medication an she would be charged approx $130.00 for her seizures medication. The seizure medication was approved by her doctor. CVS could of refilled my mother's seizures medication for $11.00 with a Good RX coupon. I told the CVS pharmacist they could take their seizure medication for $130.00 an just let my mother die & stick it where the sun don't shine. Because CVS is in the business of making money instead of taking care of the elderly generation.

Sitting here for half an hour to get my Covid vaccine. Checked in twice already. No one is coming out to help. Had an appointment at 12, no one else is in line. You set appointments for a reason, got to get back to work.

In July 2021 as I pick up prescription, the pharmacist offered me a shingles vaccine as I was eligible and fully covered by my insurance. I take the shot and after the fact I'm told I will need a booster after two months. I go after two months, they had a new person who didn't know how to do much so another tech comes in and tells me my insurance is not going in. So I set a vaccine appointment using the app, enter my insurance info, goes in and gives me an appointment. When I show up for the appointment, the same pharmacist from July tells me that 'oh the contract with the insurance expired so if you want the vaccine you have to pay out of pocket' I'll get it via my doctor, but this was the last straw on your bad customer service, not picking up the phone when calling the pharmacy, etc. LOST a customer.

If I could, there would be no stars given for this pharmacy's employees or work ethics. At least the one's that I have dealt with. My 1st experience was bad. I was told by the Tech that my Prescription was ready to go and ran with a program other than my insurance , due to higher cost using my insurance. I gave ample time (days) for it to be ready. When I went to pick it up I was greeted with a SURLY technician at the window, after a long wait. She had no people skills what so ever. Then my prescription was not filled using the discount I had been told it would. Full price. The technician grabbed it back and said it was done correctly. I gave her the name of the guy that promised me all was at a lower cost. She took 15 minutes to fix then came back to the window and didn't apologize about ANYTHING. No courtesy at all. She acted put out. So, I figured maybe it was just a bad day (I have worked pharmacy for decades , so I understand bad days). I'll give them another go. Metronidazole was sent to the pharmacy from my Dermatologist. 45GM tube. I got a text stating it was ready for $83. I called today to see why it wasn't run through insurance. I waited for 18 minutes before any pharmacy personnel even answered the phone! Finally someone picked up , (Did NOT apologize for not picking up sooner) and she stated that they did not have my insurance. I gave it to them months prior. What happened? I gave it to her again. She tried processing it and told me it was denied, could I bring my card in? Really? You need to waste so much time on ONE prescription? Call the insurance and get it good to go CPHT. Must be really new at this job? SO , sure I'll bring in my card, for more time wasted. I hang up, and call my insurance. The customer service agent calls CVS to get them straightened out. He was on hold (with NOT ONE PERSON picking up the phone to state "Please hold") for over an hour. Finally he was able to get someone on the line for help. Problem resolved. CVS (Pharmacy) needs to educate their employees on GOOD customer service if they want to keep good customers. I will not give them another try. This has nothing to do with being a "Karen". This has EVERYTHING to do with GOOD customer service. CVS Pharmacy failed in that respect.
