There overall experience is fine.,it's just the company it's self I give a poor rating .they don't buy sell and trade that a lost profit, the employees got to work and been in it for so long. GameStop has nothing to offer anymore

This is my favorite GS location close that is near my house! They open a little earlier on Friday's, which is super convenient for me to pickup pre orders before heading to work. I pre-order all my stuff from here. Michael is great, helpful, and talkative employee!

Gamestop was running a sale buy 2 get one free. All the titles I wanted were in store, but prices were higher in store than online. When asked if they price matched The employee then proceeded to extort me by saying he would but I had to purchase a 14.99 membership which would have voided out any potential savings. I was very disappointed and purchased online and store pickup. A game I wanted was in store but I had to have it shipped. 30 minutes of wasted time. Then to top it off after I told him I was there to pick up the games he proceeded to help people around me ignoring me wasting another 10 to 15 minutes of my time. Unacceptable experience.

Drove all the way from Katy to pick up a game that was only here. Purchased it online and showed up for the pick to wait over 30 minutes for it and when I finally got my order they tried giving me a used game. Went back and spent another 30 minutes trying to sort out why I was given a used game when my order was for a new game. On top of that the used game had a different price so they wouldn’t adjust the price. I just wanted what I paid for and nothing more. I asked for a return and they asked why? I’m like seriously, this is not what I ordered and you’re not giving me what I paid for. They also did not give me a receipt for the return even though I kept asking for one. Total waste of time. Not the first time they try pulling this on me either but it is the last time I shop at any GameStop. Never seen such dishonesty.

Purchased a Switch Lite from this location. My son got to it before I could set it up and he set it in a foreign language. I could not figure out how to reset the system. I Took it back to game stop and Christopher was able to fix it for me! Such a great guy. Awesome customer service.

We just left another game stop where the jerk employee punched our console and told us he couldn't replace it without even checking it(although we have insurance?), so we came here to gulf gate location, the man at the front went above and beyond. He helped us replace it now our family is back to enjoying game night. He even helped us find hard ware and walked us through the process. This place was such a prime example of wonderful customer service. Should give that man a raise!

I was told I could reserve a game and I did one on anthem other on world war z. I told the sales associate I wouldn’t be in anytime soon to pick up my reservation. She responded that’s ok we will hold it until you pick it up. They called me and told me my reservation is in twice. I’ve been to the store three different occasions and was told the sales associate female with blonde hair sold it. I once again asked if my reservation was in and was told it isn’t and she responded that she called me but at that time I was at work and couldn’t talk. So she said she had the right to hold it for two days , but prior she told me she would hold it for me till I could pick it up she contradicts her word. I canceled my reservation and no longer will reserve through her. The other guy associate help me out plenty she just seem to be resentful when it came to my simple reservation. I was upset but held my composure yet I’m expressing it on this review hoping people can understand not to trust in someone’s word at GameStop. (Reserve never received)
