Devolution is the word that comes to mind when visiting this location recently. Maybe I had just never been there on a Tuesday. Talk about proudly lackadaisical! Cashier was nice enough, but I think he was falling asleep. Unapologetic incompetence in Cosmetics. The manager on duty? Unbelievably uninterested, indignant really, at being asked for assistance. Zero sense of customer service. Maybe it's all the more notable because the bar had been set higher in previous times here. Switching pharmacies.

Went in to ask a question about an items availability very calmly and was responded to with “well why would we have something in the back if it’s not there plus the truck doesn’t come in until Wednesday” in a degrading tone.Learn how to treat your customers unless they give you a reason to do so otherwise.

Went in to ask the pharmacy a quick question. No one else in line. When I was finally acknowledged by the lady behind the counter, I believe her name was Serena or something similar, I asked about vaccine appointments. I was quickly met with the response "We have signs up all over the store that it's by appointment only." A very rude and short way to answer a simple question.

Tammy in the cosmetics department was phenomenal! Not only did she help me figure out which scent of perfume and/or body spray was best suitable for gifts to my children, my husband, and for myself (gift to myself hehe). But she went above and beyond to assist me in finding products that I would not have otherwise considered and turned out to be perfect! Her knowledge matches that of her brilliant personality.... To say the very least she is an extreme assets to Walgreens!

The best pharmacy I’ve ever used! The management (Caleb is the current pharmacy manager) has hired employees who not only care, but are knowledgeable, helpful, accessible and friendly despite working through the pandemic. It has been my experience EVERY TIME that when I call the pharmacy because I need to talk to somebody live, I’m NEVER on hold for more than a couple minutes. They have a drive-through and are very efficient about keeping the line moving. It’s close to my home, but even if I moved much further away I would go out of my way to get the excellent service and expertise provided by this Walgreen’s and the great pharmacy team from top to bottom.

Worst pharmacy customer service. I had a prescription pending while I was visiting Overland Park. After the 4 days of the prescription still pending I called. The pharmacist told me that there is not prescription pending any more and could not give me any information. I told her that I still need to get the prescription filled in my home town, so I was wondering why it was pending and now its not. She said "Why does it matter if I am not filling the prescription for you". I said "Because I will need to call the Walgreens in my home town to explain what is going on". She then stated that it was not there problem and what was she was supposed to do about it. The whole experience was mind boggling. The need to teach who ever answers the phone to be help full. Thats what they are getting paid to do.

Wayne went out of his way to personally show me the items I needed to find. Great personality, demeanor, product knowledge, and willingness to make it a great experience. This is hard to find these days. Walgreens has a good one here.

Got a covid test here and was supposed to receive results by email within 24 hours. I never did so I called and the woman who answered the phone in the pharmacy was extremely rude, gave me my results and said if I wanted a print out to come and get it. Apparently their computer was down yesterday? Generally, an apology goes a long way…not sure why I was met with such attitude and rudeness.

Was trying to talk to the pharmacist about cold/allergy medicine and her suggestion based on allergy symptoms, and all she did was ignore my questions. She acted like she was in a hurry, I was the only person in line. I asked if I could get two boxes of Sudafed allergy meds because they only contained 8 pills and I don’t I didn’t want to have to come back in a week and she got angry with me and said that I’m trying to make meth. The worst service I’ve ever had. If you can’t treat other people with kindness then no reason working in a job where it’s required to serve others. Will not be coming back to this Walgreens ever again.
